Perfect quiet stay with a view
Pros:

Location was lovely, staff super friendly and food tasty including breakfast and dinner.

Excellent stay in spite of patchy Wifi
Pros:

Really enjoyed my four night stay at the Peninsula Hotel. Staff at reception and in the breakfast room were pleasant and accommodating. A gluten-free cooked breakfast was prepared upon request without any fuss. The room was nicely appointed and looks like it might have been recently updated as everything was crisp. The inner door to the bedroom was a nice touch, reducing noise from the corridor. Shower pressure was excellent and the hanging space/shelving alcove was brilliant. I ordered room service and the food was enjoyable and much better than I expected.

Cons:

My only complaint was that the Wifi kept dropping out, and sometimes took an hour or more to be restored. Also, there was confusion on check-out that I owed payment for a meal that I'd settled at the time of room service, which was a small issue but their system should not allow such errors.

Very comfortable stay in a Delightful location
Pros:

Friendly staff. Scenic location. Good food in the restaurant

Cons:

Breakfast could have better variety. Bacon, eggs and other warm dishes could be replenished every half an hour rather than once at the beginning of service.
A surface to place two pices of luggage in the rooms would be great help

Pros:

Friendly and helpful staff (our daughter had an accident there and the staff were quick to respond). The breakfast was good though we didn't realise that we could make special orders for things like pancakes and eggs until the last day.
. Drinking water by the entrance.
. The dining area leading straight to the swimming pool.

Cons:

Some suggestions for improvements:
. Air-conditioning availability and a fridge in the room would have been handy.
. Key cards rather than the keys with big ball things.
. A note in the room on how exactly to call reception

Over all we had a fantastic stay, the staff are so friendly n helpful,
Pros:

It was suitable for where we needed to stay on the island, the hotel was very well done and maintained

Cons:

In my opinion I felt the hotel needs to reduce the amount of choices on offer for dinner mains , less is more which means you can send out dishes of a higher quality standard

Quite wonderful and deeply relaxing.
Pros:

Beautifully positioned with stunning views and coastal walks literally across the lawns. The hotel was so comfortable with excellent facilities. The staff are its greatest assets. So friendly, super helpful and focused on us having a wonderful holiday.

Cons:

If I was to be picky, the sausages at breakfast could be improved.

A Lovely Stay in a Good Hotel With FABULOUS Staff!
Pros:

This a good hotel which is made better by the SUPERB STAFF... I would give them more stars I could. They didn't stop smiling and nothing was too much trouble for them. The bar and restaurant areas are lovely - well designed and light and airy, which was an added bonus during the heat! Breakfast is super - a good range of food and drinks.

Cons:

The rooms are a bit faded, but nothing to really complain about. Just little things like extractor fans in bathroom not working etc. Minor details.

L'emplacement, la propreté et l'ambiance.
Le lieu est très agréable et bien animé autour du bar. Le service de petit-déjeuner propose un large choix salé et sucré.

Cons:

Une machine à café proposant des cappuccino et autres options de café serait un plus.

Hôtel qui accepte les chiens
Pros:

La situation et le fait que les chiens soient acceptés sans quota dans l’établissement (limités à 2 par chambre). Personnel du bar /restaurant/ accueil très agréable. Chiens non acceptés dans la partie restaurant mais une zone à côté est réservée pour pouvoir déjeuner avec son chien.

Cons:

Aucun mini frigo dans les chambres. Choix de petit déjeuner très limité et pas à la hauteur d’un hôtel 4 étoiles mais le personnel a été extrêmement serviable et s’est adapté à nos contraintes alimentaires. Ménage moyen dans les chambres, le sol de salle de bain est gris donc la saleté se voit moins, nous l’avons remarqué à notre tapis de bain tout sale après avoir essuyé le sol trempé avec …. Pas de rafraîchissement de salle de bains (robinetterie, lavabo) effectué alors que nous sommes restés 3 nuits.
