If you can overlook the maintenance issues, this is a great value for the buck.
Pros:

Rooms were clean, spacious and well laid out. Every room has a fireplace and ours even had a huge balcony. The views were amazing with the river and the forests, and the location was perfect for walking but far removed from the all-night noise and bustle of downtown.

Cons:

Pretty sure they don't have a maintenance staff. paint was sloppy and peeling everywhere, even the plaster on the walls in the bathroom was coming off. The shower had zero pressure and screamed at us the whole time. Sad to see such a beautiful place let go like this.

I’ll never stay anywhere else.
Pros:

Location was perfect. The rooms were big and roomy and very clean and bonus. We had a bear at our hotel which made my whole visit.

Cons:

We put in for a handicap room lower level. They stuck us up on the sixth floor. That was my only complaint.

No bed bugs very cozy! Don’t expect fireplace to work and know that it is worth the price!
Pros:

That it was on the outside but still walking distance of attractions! The views very nice ! And the pool was great! There is not a hot tub it’s a kid pool! Our fireplace did not work! But over all it was super clean and private balcony was nice. Plus has an elevator major plus! And handicap accessible!

Cons:

That our keys got shut off 2 hours before checkout! And they rushed us out of breakfast room and started taking food away 30 mins before it was over!

I enjoyed the breakfast, pool, and how close it is to the river and downtown.
Pros:

everything went well. the pool was the perrfect temperature and breakfast was a decent variety, fresh and very accessible not too busy not packed. the older gentleman that checked me in was very friendly

Cons:

how early breakfast ended it was hard to get up and ready to go with teenagers before 930am and the tv is pretty old and the remote did not work hardly with it

Great Location, but Poor Cleanliness and Outdated Facilities
Pros:

The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of downtown Gatlinburg.

Cons:

Unfortunately, the property is very run-down and poorly maintained. At 4:00 a.m., I had to call the front desk after finding a large cockroach when I entered the bathroom. The experience was extremely unpleasant. When I requested a room change, I had to work around the hotel’s schedule, and the change was only granted after I insisted. Their proposed solution was to spray the room and apparently make it available to other guests, which I found concerning. The replacement room and other areas were still not clean, and the housekeeping staff member was unhelpful and had a very poor attitude. Based on the overall condition and cleanliness of the property, I am not convinced this was an isolated incident. The photos shown online do not accurately reflect the current condition of the facilities.
