Fantastic location with a fantastic view out over La Maddalena. Breakfast and dinner were very good. The service provided was excellent. Staff were friendly. The room was clean - Whilst dated, the hotel is quite traditional and unpretentious.

Pros:

Posizione panoramica a pochi passi dal centro. Colazione ottima e abbondante con piatti preparati sul momento. Servizio navetta e spiaggia inclusi nel prezzo così come un massaggio omaggio ed una bottiglia di vino in camera all'arrivo

Great location, quiet and relaxing.
Pros:

The hotel was quiet and the grounds were beautiful. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. Many of the staff spoke English, which was helpful. They offer a 20 minute complementary relaxing massage. We enjoyed a traditional Sardinian meal at the restaurant the first night we arrived. It was in a great location with a grocery store within walk by distance. We took the ferry from Santa Theresa to Corsica, France for a day trip and took La Maddalena archipelago Boat Tour, which is a must!

Overall excellent especially in terms of staff but the music is very intrusive in the evenings.
Pros:

Wonderful staff. From the reception, welcome, bar staff and throughout the hotel including the manager everyone is very polite, professional, friendly and excellent.

Rooms are clean. Simple, as is often the way in Sardinia, but the air con was excellent. The bathrooms good and all very acceptable. Slightly dated decor but it’s not a luxury four star, for myself the accommodation is more a three star + on an international scale.

Breakfasts were exceptional. A vast choice, hot, cold, fresh fruits, pastries and really an excellent breakfast, very easily a 4* breakfast and very good Italian coffee too, strong but no bitterness, if only elsewhere coffee was like they make it in Italy!

I also ate one lunch at the hotel and that too was very good food and lovely service.

Cons:

Well. I did mention to the management that the music in the evenings was very loud and unfortunately it meant that I wasn’t prepared to eat in the main restaurant due to the volume of the love singer. Perhaps some people enjoy it but I travel almost every week of the year and it is the first time in many years that I have found music so obtrusive. If the music is softened and either a better musician or some better music is chosen then the hotel could be excellent rather than just very good.

Fabulous but sort out the shuttle service - even if you add a charge
Pros:

Beautiful decor and pool
Lovely touches like complementary bottle of Prosecco and massage

Cons:

Only 1 thing
Free shuttle to town stops at 7 so no return after dinner possibly and no taxis
It was very difficult for one of my group with walking problem
