Once I need to return ..
Pros:

We stayed at the hotel for seven nights in June and had an absolutely fantastic time. Of all the hotels I have ever stayed in, this is the first one that made me think: I have to come back here one day, even if it is only for a long weekend.

One of the things we loved most was the incredible amount of space everywhere. Whether we were around the pools, walking through the hotel, or having breakfast or dinner at Pangea, we never felt crowded. There was always plenty of room around us, even enough space for personal belongings without feeling that we were in anyone’s way. Despite families staying at the hotel, the children did not bother us at all, partly because the whole resort is so spacious.

The hotel itself and its surroundings were breathtaking. Great landscape and hotel design and architecture, the enormous gardens, huge infinity pool, palm trees and easy access to the seafront and small beaches below made the whole place feel almost like a fairytale. The gardens were particularly impressive, with an extraordinary variety of plants from different parts of the world that were perfectly suited to the climate. We were amazed by the amount of attention given to them and regularly saw staff carefully checking individual plants and trees.

We were also very grateful for the slightly upgraded room we received. It was incredibly spacious, elegant, beautiful and comfortable. We stayed in two other five-star hotels during the same trip, but nowhere else did we have a room this impressive. We almost did not want to leave it.

The dinner buffet also offered the widest selection I have ever seen in a five-star hotel, and there were always dishes we really enjoyed, particularly some of the seafood.

The entire place was breathtaking, and this is the first hotel I have ever left knowing that I definitely want to return.

Cons:

The main shows/entertainment after the dinner were very boring, and half century old music if not older I do not know for whom.
We had a few issues at the dinner. We had specifically chosen this hotel partly because of its reputation for an enormous variety of food, excellent quality and live cooking. The variety certainly lived up to our expectations, although the food itself was not always quite as perfect as we had expected. Too many dishes were badly oversalted, others were underseasoned, completely unwashed cooked eggs and dishes not well prepared and so not enjoyable . Never ending queues at the meat cooking sections. However, we always found several dishes that were absolutely delicious, and most of the seafood was very well prepared. Despite these issues with dinner, I am still giving the hotel the highest possible score because the overall experience and the hotel itself were simply incredible.

Lo mejor la piscina grande y Roberta un amor de persona, nos atendió de maravilla los días que fuimos al restaurante

La llegada fue un despropósito por parte del hotel, llegamos a las 11 de la mañana y nos dijeron que no podían darnos las 2 habitaciones que habíamos reservado, hasta las 3 de la tarde, hubiera sido un detalle que nos las hubieran dado antes, pero lo asumimos y nos fuimos 4 horas a dar vueltas por el hotel….volvimos a las 3 y nos dijeron que todavía no podían darnos las habitaciones…….a lo que expresamos nuestro malestar ya que ahí era un problema de ellos y ya no nuestro, estábamos agotados y no vimos el trato para nada propio de un hotel de la categoría que Gran Meliá, tras nuestra queja nos dieron otras dos habitaciones distintas de las que nos habían asignado…..el resto de la estancia fue muy bien, pero el recibimiento nos dió una impresión muy mala….

Un hotel increible, en diseño, calidad y atención atención al cliente.
Pros:

Todo el Hotel es una joya en cuanto a decoración y buen gusto. A destacar la jardinería exuberante, con cientos de palmeras reales y multitud de especies tropicales, marivillosamente cuidados. La piscina infinita de agua salada y con mas de 5000 m², increible. Todo el personal muy pendiente a tus necesidades. En cuanto a la gastronomía del Hotel, nunca había visto un bufet tan completo, para elegier entre comida asiatica, italiana, mexicana, canaria, etc. Los restaurantes con igual calidad. Un auténtico DESCANSO, con mayúsculas.

Cons:

Un par de defectos en el mantenimiento de las habitaciones, que en absoluto empañaron la estancia, pero que hago constar a efectos de mejora, para que se cuide un poco más.
