I really enjoyed the property. The location, the cleanliness of the property and the environment the staff created.
We love Courtyard. However we did encounter an issue. The hot tub was out of order and it was not disclosed when booking. Also there “heated pool” was not working it was very cold. That was the only bummer.
1、We booked a king room with sofa bed for three persons, but they provided us a double quees one (after checked-in, at my reques, changed to a king room, but the sofa bed was not ready and we needed to aks the house keeping for bedding), and the shower towel were only for two persons.
2、I noticed there is a paper coaster with text of bottled water price, I supposed this an advertisment, since there is no bottled water on it, but after I left, they charged me $6.47 for the bottled water.
Tudo muito bom
Nada de ruim pra falar
Location to convention center was great. Parking lot was easy to access. Room was small but was expected before booking.
Easy check in and staff was friendly. The bar closed at 10pm sharp and was rudely kicked out of the area for cleaning.
Bar staff was rude and didn't allow time for relaxation. The spa was down for repairs and was super bummed about it due to a sore back. Easy to access in and out and overall cleanliness was good.
Loud air conditioner. The room stayed warm
Great location. Good meeting facilities. Rooms were good size.
I needed to contact the property several times and could never reach anyone. I tried to call and I tried to email. I had an important question before I made the reservation. Because I could not get through to the property several times, I decided to use Booking.com. With Booking.com, I was able to get my question answered and follow through with the reservation. And, it made me appreciate Booking.com. After we left, I realized I had left all my power cords, including a power cord for my Apple Watch. I tried to get through to the property directly. Not happening. We will be returning to the area in a few days and I will drive over to see if my power cords are in their Lost and Found. For now, I can hope I will be able to retrieve them. I have learned that having no direct contact with hotels is now the norm. Frustrating and disappointing. I appreciate Booking.com but I know that I don’t mean anything to Courtyard Marriott.
poor
it was like a canteen
Liked the overall atmosphere of the hotel. Staff was friendly and courteous. Breakfast was tasty!
We stayed in an ADA room, bed was way too soft and too low to the floor.
If you’re going to advertise free breakfast on the internet, then you should do it!
I made a reservation using a Free Night Award at a Courtyard in San Diego for April 21. Out of nowhere, 44,000 points were deducted from my account. When I called to understand why, I was told that I had canceled my original reservation and then rebooked the same property minutes later using points.
The problem? I never canceled anything, and I definitely didn’t make a second booking.
I spent about 40 minutes on the phone with a supervisor, and the entire response was basically “the system shows you did it.” There was no real investigation, no accountability, and no effort to resolve what is clearly either a system error or unauthorized activity. Just a blanket statement shifting the blame onto me.
To make things worse, during check-in, I was even told “I see you’re using your free night award,” which confirms that my original booking should have been intact.
This experience has completely shaken my trust in the program. What’s the point of being loyal and earning points if they can just disappear based on what “the system says,” without any real support?
Very disappointed in how this was handled, especially by the supervisor. I expected much better from a brand like Marriott.
