Could have received more stars
Pros:

Staff in restaurant were really nice, kind and helpful. Food good.
Beds comfortable.

Cons:

I booked so my grandchildren could use the pool and play area. The pool was closed, after we were told it was open. I would not have booked this hotel if the pool had been closed

Such a shame as everything else was great. I would have given the place a higher rate.

Handy for overnight stays to break up long journeys on M6
Pros:

I can't comment too much on the hotel, as we were using it only as an overnight stop on our way from Glasgow to Plymouth. However, from that perspective, it was perfect, being just a few hundred yards off the M6 at Junction 15. We didn't eat in the hotel at all, but did have a could of drinks in the bar upon arrival. Staff we friendly and attentive an the room suited us fine. The hotel has good parking facilities for guests and is dog friendly, which was our main reson for selecting it.

Pros:

Room was very clean and lovely view of gardens. Quiet too, which i didnt expect, but its just far enough away from the main roads that I didn't hear them. Surprised by the selection at breakfast, much nicer than anywhere else I stayed.
