Pros:

Gezellig en vriendelijk hotel. Het tweepersoonsbed in de kleinere kamer (die met een wenteltrap) was 140 cm breed, maar voor twintig euro konden we upgraden naar een veel grotere kamer met een ruimer bed. Het hotel ligt direct aan het eindpunt van de Caminito del Rey. De bussen naar het startpunt vertrekken voor de deur. Ideaal voor wie deze wandeling maakt en daarna een frisse duik wil nemen in het prima zwembad, zoals wij dus! ;)

Pros:

Struttura molto accogliente, e caratteristica. Avevamo la camera su due livelli, al primo livello salottino, frigo e bollitore più macchina del caffè. Al piano superiore letto alla francese matrimoniale e bagno ( forse un po' scomodo l ingresso alla vasca da bagno/, doccia). TV e split condizionatore ad entrambi i piani. Ottimo il ristorante, ottima la colazione. Piscina e zona relax meravigliose. Ottima posizione per il caminito del rey: fermata del bus fuori dall' hotel e biglietti acquistabili alla reception ( 5 Eur) parcheggio gratuito e possibile fare doccia+ utilizzo piscina post Caminito ( dopo il check out) senza supplemento.

Quirky hotel with amazing views.
Pros:

Quirky hotel, amazing views and is by the shuttle bus stop for the Caminito del Rey. We stayed in a deluxe split level room overlooking the mountains. Air conditioning units in the room, both upstairs and downstairs, were a godsend and very quiet. Couldn't fault the room, and would definitely pay the extra for one of these rooms. Very quiet, very comfortable beds and a lovely swimming pool. The reception staff were welcoming and helpful and the hotel was very clean.

Cons:

At certain times of the day, there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke in the corridor of the 2nd floor, fortunatelynot jn the rooms. The restaurant staff were not as welcoming and made you feel like an inconvenience and very rarely smiled. Ate in the hotel and the first night our meal was luke warm and not the best, however the 2nd night it was very good. Breakfast was basic, hot items were cold as they had been sitting out for a very long time but reasonably priced at 13€.

Entorno espectacular y grandes detalles para disfrutar del Caminito del Rey
Pros:

La ubicación y el entorno son espectaculares. El hotel está rodeado de un paisaje precioso y es una opción perfecta para visitar el Caminito del Rey. Las vistas son impresionantes y las zonas comunes son muy agradables, especialmente las terrazas, las piscinas y la zona de desayuno al aire libre, desde donde se disfruta de unas panorámicas magníficas.

Aunque el hotel no es un establecimiento de lujo ni un hotel boutique, se nota que recibe mantenimiento constante y que se cuidan los detalles. Por ejemplo, dispone de aparcamiento dentro del recinto incluido en el precio y recientemente han instalado marquesinas para proteger los vehículos del sol. También se agradecen detalles como el agua de cortesía, la cafetera en la habitación o la posibilidad de utilizar una ducha del hotel después de dejar la habitación, algo especialmente útil tras disfrutar de la piscina o realizar la excursión al Caminito del Rey.

La habitación era algo pequeña, pero cómoda y funcional. El desayuno nos pareció bueno, con variedad suficiente y un café excelente.

Quiero destacar especialmente al personal de recepción, que fue profesional, amable y resolutivo en todo momento. También a los guías de la excursión que contratamos a través del hotel. En nuestro caso nos acompañó Alberto, cuyo trato, cercanía y profesionalidad fueron de diez. La experiencia del Caminito del Rey merece totalmente la pena.

Cons:

La calidad de la comida del restaurante me pareció correcta, aunque algo básica. Sin embargo, el principal aspecto a mejorar es la atención en el restaurante. Durante toda la estancia percibimos un trato poco cercano y una actitud algo distante por parte de varios miembros del equipo. No fue algo puntual de una sola persona, sino una sensación general que observamos también en la atención a otros clientes.

Tuvimos además una incidencia con un vino dulce que pedimos después de comer. Solicitamos una referencia concreta de la carta y finalmente se nos sirvió otra distinta, de precio superior. Aunque al comentarlo corrigieron la cuenta, la gestión resultó poco agradable y transmitió cierta falta de predisposición hacia el cliente.

Es una pena porque el hotel tiene muchas virtudes, el entorno es magnífico y tanto la recepción como los servicios relacionados con la excursión ofrecen una atención excelente. Si el trato en el restaurante estuviera al mismo nivel que el resto del establecimiento, la experiencia sería sobresaliente.

Purtroppo L unica notte a nostra disposizione non è andata bene . ci hanno dato l unica stanza costruita fuori dalla struttura , la numero 150. quella notte c’è stato vento molto forte tipico delle insenature tra le montagne, tutta la notte ci sono stati rumori molto forti provenienti dal tetto che ci hanno impedito di dormire, abbiamo poi notato che le tegole non erano fissate bene e con quel vento continuavano a sbattere sulla struttura.
Al mattino in reception hanno detto che avremmo dovuto avvisarli .. ma sinceramente non mi metto a fare una chiamata alle 2 di notte per cambiare stanza.
Avrei preferito che controllassero la struttura prima di affittarla, e spero che la controllino per chi verrà dopo.
Quando ci sono questo tipo di inconvenienti che causano al cliente una notte insonne credo come come minimo lo staff dovrebbe fare in modo di scusarsi anche solo con un drink offerto , ma qui non c’è stato nulla di tutto questo .

Great location for El Chorro
Pros:

Loved the location. Pool was fantastic after the hike.
Staff were extremely helpful especially the female at reception. Our train was cancelled and she knew went above and beyond to assist us sorting out the issue. Would highly recommend
