Breakfast was ok, food was buffet style and was in parts a bit dry - pastries were dry, fruit was also dry, cooked breakfast was passable - bacon was wet and fatty, scrambled eggs a bit tasteless, sausages were nice as were hash browns.
Pillows were hard, reception could have been more positive at check in, room was fine.

We are not given the exact room that we booked. We were given a room with a full size bed instead of a king and it was not a large deluxe room with a beautiful garden view. Alex the manager was really reluctant to help us out, but he finally gave us only a 10% compensation. The room that we were given was cheaper than the compensation that he gave us.
At the bar some of the staff were not right. When we asked for a single they gave doubles so they could charge more and they automatically gave bottles of mixer instead of from the post mix dispenser again so it costs more. Therefore one drink was averaging 9 pounds. One bar staff member was rude and threw the card machine down in temper when they were told that they would not pay for doubles when he asked for singles. Then she tried to say she would not serve him although he paid the bill. This tainted our stay and we will therefore not return. We were there for a wedding which meant thousands had been spent there with all the rooms and wedding ever etc. so overall a poor customer experience. The room was too warm, air con only starts at 19. In this heat that is not low enough. Eventually got a fan after asking twice.
Clean, well maintained and very comfortable. Room was spacious, air conditioned, very comfortable bed, sofa, fridge and very nice bathroom. Lovely gardens at rear of hotel. Plenty of parking space. Good buffet breakfast.
Liked just about everything. Only ate once in restaurant - it was absolutely fine but nothing special- usual pub type food.
Can’t always get through to reception very quickly if phoning to make enquiries prior to stay at hotel.
Bar staff deliberately giving doubles when you ask for singles and giving a bottle mixer rather than the pump mixers so they can charge a lot more for them. Not watching who is next so causing bad feelings. Being rude to guests. Programming the air con to start at 19 which is not cold enough in hot weather.

Solo dopo il check inn e la entrata nella abitazione ho scoperto che le stanze CLASSIC , sono prive di climatizzatore perciò è stato impossibile dormire a causa del caldo ed inoltre , queste stanze sono quelle presenti nella area piu' scadente della struttura molto , molto lontano dalla reception . grosse difficoltà nel arrivarci sopratutto in oresenza di bagagli
Very clean, modern and welcoming.
Lovely bar area with conservatory and pretty garden (Although it was too hot to sit outside)
Club bedroom was large, immaculate with a lovely bathroom. Aircon was great.
Bar & staff seemed a little rattled in the evening. Had to wait a long time for drinks and food took a good while too.
Didn't like the bedding as it was rough to the skin
