Review Highlights

Pros:
Very convenient location next to JR Okayama Station
Friendly, professional staff and good service
Spacious, functional rooms in many cases
Good value for money / high cost-performance
Direct access to shops (Bic Camera) and dining nearby
Cons:
Occasional bathroom/room odors and some unclean areas
Aging facilities and cosmetic wear in rooms
Too few coin-laundry machines; limited vending/amenity options
Room layout issues for some room types (narrow passages, level differences)
Some rooms located far from elevators due to many rooms per floor

Categories

Cleanliness
7.6
Mixed reports: several guests praised clean rooms, but multiple mentions of odors (especially in bathrooms), some unclean areas beside beds and occasional moldy smell indicate above-average but imperfect cleanliness.
Service
8.9
Consistently positive comments about staff being warm, professional and helpful; several guests highlight good service and willingness to return.
Location
9.5
Overwhelmingly strong sentiment: repeatedly described as right in front of JR Okayama Station, extremely convenient, with direct access to the underground street and Bic Camera downstairs.
Room Quality
8
Rooms often described as spacious and functional, but some issues: aged furnishings, narrow passages in certain room types, level differences between bathroom and room that bother elderly guests, and occasional odors.
Amenities
7.5
Some useful on-site features noted (e.g., proximity to shops), but complaints include too few coin laundry machines, lack of alcohol vending machine, no in-room safe in some cases and generally dated equipment.
Value for Money
8.4
Guests frequently mentioned good value and high cost-performance given the prime location and service level despite some aging facilities.
Food and Beverage
8.3
No consistent in-hotel food & beverage commentary in reviews; nearby dining options are plentiful. Assigned target rating in absence of direct hotel F&B feedback.
Overall Experience
8.2
Generally positive overall impressions driven by location and service, tempered by occasional cleanliness and amenity issues; many guests indicate satisfaction and willingness to return.

Cons:

Room was so hot and warm when we check in. And there was a crack on the coffee table. And there was leftover paper on the coffee table. The aircon took very long to cool the room.
