Perfect place to stay
Pros:

This Daiwa has been one of my favorite stays in Japan. (And I’ve stayed at a lot of places). It’s clean, friendly, great breakfast, nice rooms (get one with a view of the Castle). The rooms are smallish but efficient and comfortable.

There are shops/cafes on the bottom floor and a Lawsons. McD’s, bakery, Japanese food, and a ??, orange specialty shop with burgers. Yes I had a burger with a huge orange slice on it, was good.

There is no Onsen at this hotel but a very nice one about 7 min walk away. Ask them the name and go there. (Owl Onsen). Get a massage too.

I would and will go there again. Very good price in a great location. Bus stop out front and 3 stops to the Wakayama Station.

Cons:

Nothing, it’s perfect.

i might be allergic to their toiletries or bedding because my back skin were terribly ichy while i stayed at the hotel

Comfortable and convenient stay in Wakayama
Pros:

Very nice hotel, conveniently located in front of the castle and close to bus stops. Nice views. Friendly staff.

Bellissima vista sul Castello!
Pros:

Bellissimo hotel con super vista sul Castello e parco adiacente!
Struttura moderna con ottimi servizi e personale molto gentile e disponibile!
È stato quasi un peccato essersi fermati così poco!
Le camere hanno ottime dimensioni, complete di tutto il necessario, silenziose e molto pulite!
Sicuramente un posto da consigliare!
