The staff were incredibly obliging, room comfortable, lovely bed
It would have been nicer a little closer to the village centre, not as close to the main road but this is balanced with excellent parking and the short walk into town gives you the opportunity to really take it in and enjoy the quirky beauty of the place
Location was close to The Farmers Dog pub where we were visiting plus it was within walking distance of the shops and eateries.
The staff were nice and there was plenty of choice for breakfast although we opted for just toast.
The place was clean and quaint. The towels were soft and large and there was ample tea and coffee sachets in the room.
There was plenty of space to park and we didn't hear any of the other guests throughout the night.
There was a musty smell in the bedroom and the decor and furniture was old fashioned and mismatched.
The shower was slow running and there wasn't any shampoo which I hadn't noticed until I was in the enclosure.
I would definitely not describe the room as deluxe but basic and serviceable for travelling around the Cotswolds.
Had a lovely stay at the Burford Lodge. A very handy 5 minute walk into town. I planned a visit to the Farmer’s Dog pub and it’s less than a mile from the hotel

The location was perfect for a walk into the village for dinner in the evenings.

We raised issues both mornings of our stay about the issue we had with water pressure and the lack of water from the shower. We were just told that they thought there must be a problem somewhere and also that the chef had filled a sink which affects the loft rooms… this response was quite unsatisfactory for both mornings for the amount of money we paid for the room. No good will gesture of any kind was offered.
We also didn’t get fresh cups or glasses for the duration of the stay, so dirty glasses and crockery were left in our room.
All staff were very friendly, breakfast was excellent. Location is good as just a short walk from the town and 5 minute drive to Cotswolds Wildlife Park and Gardens.
Being on a very busy road, traffic is very noisy throughout the night. If we shut our window, room was too hot.
Beautiful property, beautifully presented, lovely little rooftop seating area overlooking the golf course to sit, we were welcomed and made to feel very comfortable, super breakfast and excellent location with added bonus of parking

We stayed in room 3 which was perfect with the gentle breeze coming from the little private balcony outside. We loved our host. She was so special and engaging and just made us feel at home. The room was great and perfect for comfort.
The only thing not good was the shower. Even after the gentleman adjusted our shower temperature control we had I believe it was too much hot water. The water seems very hard and needed treatment and I would suspect the spring in the limiter for adjusting the temperature was frozen. That is the only thing that was not great. Otherwise really delightful.

Nice, cute B&B with pleasant staff and good breakfast.
It was rather expensive (GBP 210) and for this price I would expect the shower to be working properly and lights in the room to be in order. It was nearly impossible to get wet in the shower.
Great location! Clean ! Hearty breakfast. Terrace .within walking to many great restaurants.
