Great location for everything around the Cotswolds, 5 minute drive to the famous Jeremy Clarksons Farmers Dog pub, Burfo

Relaxing, homely and welcoming
Pros:

Our room was really spacious, the bed was so comfortable and the bedding was very luxurious. Loved that the en-suite had a bath. We felt very welcome.

Burford Lodge was very close to the high street of Burford where there's lots lovely places to eat, and 5 mins drive from The Farmers Dog pub which we loved and visited twice.

Nice place, for money I would stay else where
Pros:

Great location, friendly staff, comfy bed, breakfast was great

Cons:

Shower gel was present but had to go out and buy our own as it didn’t lather. Partners judges on the little soaps and shampoos available and there was only the poor shower gel. Bar wasn’t open. Tv was intermittent with signal kept retuning

Great all round stay, good value for money and in a convenient location money and host was very friendly and helpful
Pros:

Great location just a 2 minute walk to top of Burford High Street.

Cons:

No aircon in room and opening window meant letting in the traffic noise from nearby road.

Pros:

One of the best stays we've ever had. Everything was perfect and the host is wonderful - extremely helpful and easy to communicate with. Would gladly come back and we can't recommend it highly enough!

Would stay again!
Pros:

Loved the whole property - old original - fab breakfast, local to area - excellent hosts - clean - comfy bed - loved it . Bathrooms are super. The reception and bar are excellent. Parking is great.

Cons:

The only thing that people may not like is that its an older building and the room. Furniture relates to the properties age. It’s not modern as it would not go! So don’t expect modern as it’s not! Lovely old wood

Un salone meraviglioso ma non utilizzabile la sera!
Pros:

La sala al piano terra molto bella! Peccato fosse chiusa la sera e non si potesse godere del salotto. Ottima la colazione. La proprietaria molto accogliente!

Cons:

La camera si affacciava su una strada trafficata. Manca una luce sopra lo specchio del bagno. Peccato non aver potuto cenare qui, contrariamente a quanto letto nelle recensioni.

Great 4 night stay, lovely breakfast and close to shops,pubs and restaurants although the steep hill can be a challenge.

Pros:

Het personeel was heel vriendelijk. De handdoeken zijn heel groot en superzacht.

Cons:

De kamer is klein en heeft geen legplanken of kast. De kledij moet dus in de valies blijven. Dat is geen probleem voor 1 overnachting maar als je langer blijft wel een beetje vervelend.
Hotel ligt aan een drukke straat. Er is veel lawaai.
