Not what I expected from an Executive Suite as per Booking.com standards.
Pros:

Was close to high street and there was good parking

Cons:

I booked it as it claimed to be 1 mile from the Farmers Dog pub, walking distance. It’s over 3 miles on a busy A road with no pavements.
There was a really strong smell, cinnamon I think in the entrance area. Overpowering and not very pleasant
View from room was of Lorrie’s as the room was about 20 feet from the bust A40 which was busy all night. Closed the windows which minimised the noise but of course meant there was no fresh air in the room overnight. Lucky it wasn’t too hot as there is no aircon of fans in the room.
Matress was really old and terribly uncomfortable.
Bathroom was old and tired and in need of decorating and updating
Booked 2 nights but was really close to leaving g after the first night….

The Breakfast was really good. The eggs are amazing. The service was excellent.

Stilvolle Unterkunft in Ortsnähe
Pros:

Burford ist in 10' zu Fuß zu erreichen, gratis Parkplätze, gutes Frühstück in stilvollem Ambiente, gutes WLAN.

Cons:

Das Bett ist sehr "schaukelig" und unser straßenseitiges Zimmer war recht laut. Das TV ist nicht up-to-date.

300 year old period property , what you would expect for Cotswolds , lovely breakfast room . Very friendly host

Lovely
Pros:

Beautiful property located just at the edge of village, easy access to local amenities. Lovely staff. Quaint bedroom and furnishings very in keeping with age of property. Delicious breakfast

Cons:

Bathroom with overhead shower - difficult to access. Bar in the property did not appear to be open during our stay - a shame as we would have happily spent time and money there

Relaxing, homely and welcoming
Pros:

Our room was really spacious, the bed was so comfortable and the bedding was very luxurious. Loved that the en-suite had a bath. We felt very welcome.

Burford Lodge was very close to the high street of Burford where there's lots lovely places to eat, and 5 mins drive from The Farmers Dog pub which we loved and visited twice.
