Lovely rooms, friendly staff and beautiful grounds to explore. An ideal spot for a relaxing country staycation, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Would definitely stay again.

Cons:

If travelling to nearby towns, it’s advisable to pre-book a taxi. However, there are plenty of facilities on the grounds for food and activities.

Misleiding:
1. het hotel is niet de fraaie afbeelding op de foto's van de locatie, maar een betonnen gebouw achter de residence
2. als je online de menukaart opvraagt, zie je een gevarieerd menu tegen redelijke prijzen, maar in het restaurant krijg je een heel andere menukaart, hogere prijzen. De online maaltijden mag je niet kiezen om te eten

I would not be going back.
Pros:

Nice property and trails to walk after dinner.

Cons:

We checked in during a rainstorm, no indoor parking. The person checking us in was less than pleasant and not very helpful when I asked about our ‘upgraded’ room that had mold around the bathtub. The restaurant food was average at best.

Pros:

Comfortable bed/room, spacious.

Cons:

Breakfast wasn't so good, hot food seemed to be there too long. Eggs were dried up and bacon was hard.

Recommended, would stay again.
Pros:

Beautiful grounds and hotel. Nice restaurant in the hotel too.

Cons:

Very warm in summer, cannot control room temperatures without calling reception. Windows don’t open all the way to allow fresh air in.

A peaceful relaxing few days.
Pros:

It was really peaceful . Convenient for where we needed to be. Good size room.
Restaurant was good too.

Cons:

The TV was very difficult to use. missed not having a fridge as had medication that needed to be kept cool.

Location of hotel, , the room was comfortable, spacious and clean overall.

Cons:

cleanliness of linen on our bed in our room (mentioned to manager, who was pleasant and changed our accomodation as a result).
quality of main courses served for our meal in the restaurant- disappointing, not prepared with care or thought.
