Mooie ruime kamers!
Was upgraded free to the sister property aspire, which was pleasant, so unfortunately cannot comment on the Eisenhower‘s rooms…aspire was very comfortable
No ventilation in hallways, stagnant air, long walk to the pool in the Eisenhower, staff was not rude but not particularly professional.
I love that you welcome pets
Close to the vendors and concert. Within walking distance but there is a little hill to walk up so be prepared
They’re not keeping it up esthetically. They were very clean, but the photos look nicer than the hotel. It had lost its “Gettysburg feel and is very industrial” they need to fix the overhang out front and the door to the snack shop to the pool area.
The quietness and the breakfast buffet
Yhe bed had a broken spring in it
Broken lamp shade. Charging outlets on bottom of lamp did not work. Renovation was terrible. Bad drywall and painting work. Curtains not properly hung. Stains on curtains. Furniture in terrible shape. Hairdryer mounted on wall outside bathroom near microwave… could not see bathroom mirror completely to dry my hair. Had to unplug microwave and coffee maker to plug in hairdryer. Cheap mismatched toiletries.
Dusty baseboards. Dusty lamps. No decor. No color coordination.
Chairs in common areas near meeting rooms were worn and dirty. Stains on the chair in our room. No lamp at the desk. Controls on the air conditioner not working properly.. Air in the room and the hallways stunk. Gaming machines everywhere. Fitness room gone… converted to a gaming room. (Any way to make a dime, I guess)
Banquet servers improperly dressed… some in jeans and other street clothes. Servers not dressed uniformly or professionally.
Front desk clerk at checkout acted like she was miserable in her job… no smile, no thank you.
How disrespectful to President Eisenhower
Shouldn’t be slower to use his name on this establishment.
Close to town
Not what it used to be. Very outdated. Needs repairs. I have seen it change over the years and not for the best.
Loved our stay here for the Gettysburg Bash! The room was spacious, clean, and nice and quiet. The hotel does a nice job with accessibility — ramps are available throughout, just a heads up that a few are a bit steep. Parking was easy with plenty of spots, and you can’t beat the location if you’re planning to explore the Battlefield and surrounding attractions. Would happily book again
The bad out shadowed the good
Our kitchen area had mold due to a leaking refrigerator. The floor was damp and disgusting the entire weekend, and my husband and I both became sick after being exposed to the mold. After seeing the housekeeping staff sprinkle powder in front of the refrigerators and then vacuum it up, it seemed like this is an ongoing issue in many of the rooms rather than being properly addressed.
The pool was also supposed to close at 10:00 p.m., but it remained open well past that. We were woken up around 12:30 a.m. by people drinking and making noise at the pool, making it impossible to get a good night's sleep.
Overall, this was a very disappointing experience due to the cleanliness issues and lack of enforcement of the property's posted quiet hours.
air conditioner in wall unit did not start cooling down the room until the sun went down. Not a very comfortable start to the end of day.
It was clean. Safety seemed to be well maintained. Staff at the front desk were pleasant and helpful.
The facilities were dated, and the halls and lobby all had that “old, musty smell.” It wasn’t bad but it did give us pause. The room however was clean and had no odor.
