EL PERSONAL ES MUY AMABLE, MUCHOS HABLAN CASTELLANO. EL CHECK OUT ES 11 AM. LA LLAVE YA NO FUNCIONA UN MINUTO DESPUÉS PERO TE GUARDAN LAS MALETAS HASTA LA HORA DE TU SALIDA DEFINITIVA.

I am Hitiura. I had booked room 211 and 215. 215 was a two queen sized bed for two nights and I prepaid that room over $600. When I got to the reception, the receptionist accused me of not paying my room and it made me very embarrassed in front of my family. I had already prepaid the room a month in advance and now I am told to pay it right now. I explained this and he told me to wait until his manager gets here. I have never had this issue happen and I travel a lot for work and leisure. Then his manager is not here but he says it is okay and I can go to the room. I don't understand if he found my payment or what happened. He then proceeds to give me card keys and half of them don't work so I have to go down to the reception three times to keep asking for new cards that will open the door. I also looked at my receipt and it had "no show" written under my name even though I have a message thread with the hotel clearly informing them that I will not arrive the first night but it still paid for it so I can get in the room in the morning of June 13 instead of waiting for 4pm check in. The same message thread has the response of the hotel saying it was fine. After I left, I was charged a $8 fee for a water bottle that I don't even remember ever using because me and my guests had brought our drinks from the cruise we just disembarked from. We had more drinks that we could use so we ended up thrashing most of them. I can't believe my family would have used a hotel water instead of all the water bottles we had brought with us. I was definitely scammed and treated poorly but I let it go because I don't want to deal with this hotel staff that makes me feel like I am in the wrong. Overall, I had an absolutely disastrous experience at this hotel and will be avoiding it from now on. I don't want to get scammed again with some obscure made up charges.
