When booking 5 rooms or more, different policies and additional supplements may apply.

Under current restrictions, private travelers can only access the hotel if they are fully vaccinated (and have had their second vaccination 14+ days ago), or have proof of a negative test taken within the last 48 hours.

Business travelers are permitted to stay in compliance with the AHA rules and are not obliged to provide a negative Covid test before entering the hotel.

For all guests, breakfast is permitted in the breakfast room in compliance with the AHA rules.

Any further catering may only take place on the terrace or in the hotel room as a takeaway option.

The terraces are open daily from 12:00 to 22:00, depending on the weather. If the weather is bad, the terrace will not be opened and a room-service option will be in place instead.

Hervorragend und ganz sicher nicht der letzte Aufenthalt !
Pros:

Aussergewöhnlicher Ort, fantastische Ruhe mitten in der Stadt. Die MitarbeiterInnen des Hotels sind zuvorkommend und sehr freundlich. Ein wenig scheint es, als wehe der gute Geist von Margarethe Krupp durch das Hotel

Hinreissend. Unvergesslich.
Pros:

Ideale Lage um die Atmosphäre der Margarethenhöhe zu geniessen, aber auch um mit dem Fahrrad Ausflüge nach Essen (Villa Krupp, Zeche Zollverein, Folkwang Museum und See) zu machen. Ich war so beeindruckt vom Frieden in der Siedlung Margaretehenhöhe, es war paradiesisch am stillen Marktplatz zu träumen. Wie ein Ausflug in die Vergangenheit, sehr schön.

Cons:

Frühstück war relativ teuer für das was angeboten wurde.

Pros:

Die Lage des Hotels, direkt auf der Margarethenhöhe, ist ausgezeichnet. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Balkon zum Marktplatz, den wir viel zu wenig genutzt haben. Wirklich ein sehr schönes Ambiente. Das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen und der Service war prima.

Cons:

Vom Restaurant waren wir, eine Gruppe mit 8 Personen, leider enttäuscht. Wir hatten von einem Restaurant, das auch eine Kochschule betreibt, mehr erwartet und der Service hätte auch besser sein können, zumal das Restaurant nicht stark belegt war.

Auszeit im wunderschönen Margerethenviertel
Pros:

Schöne Umgebung im historischen Viertel. Das Hotel hat sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter, die auch viele persönliche Wünsche möglich gemacht haben.
Insgesamt haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Cons:

Das Haus ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, da könnte sicher etwas passieren.

Överlag mycket bra hotell, fantastisk miljö i Margerethenhöhe

God. Lagom mycket mat. Uppskattade fräscha grönsaker från trädgården.

Cons:

Saknades aircondition. Rummet tidvis väldigt varmt.

Cons:

Unsere Zimmerkategorie hatte den Nachteil, dass das Zimmer zur Straßenseite lag und Auto- und Straßenbahn bei leicht geöffnetem Fenster sehr hörbar waren. Werden nächstes Mal ein anderes Zimmer wählen.

Pros:

Gute Lage in einem interessanten Ambiente

Cons:

Die Bettengröße hat uns nicht gefallen 1,60 m ist für uns definitiv zu schmal. Eine Bettenöse von 1,80 m wäre komfortabler, gibt es lt. Aussage an der Rezeption nur in den Suiten (?).

Traumhaftes Hotel im einzigartiger Lage
Pros:

Lage des Hotels und Ambiente sind unübertrefflich. Sehr hilfsbereites und äußerst freundliches Personal.

Cons:

Die Abschaltung der Lüftung/Klimaanlage für die Nacht war etwas schwierig beschrieben, jedenfalls für technisch Unbegabte wie mich.
