Top l’emplacement et top le personnel.
Pros:

Le personnel, l’emplacement et le charme en général

Cons:

La chambre très belle donnait dans la court principale, donc un lieu de passage avec beaucoup de bruit. Chambre pas très bien isolée. La salle de bain petite avec le rideau de douche qui se détachait tout le temps.

Mi stupisco del punteggio Eccellente

Esperienza purtroppo deludente, soprattutto considerando le ottime recensioni, per il quale continuo tutt’ora a stupirmi, che ci avevano portato a scegliere questo hotel.
Fin dal nostro arrivo abbiamo riscontrato una scarsa pulizia della camera: bagno non pulito adeguatamente, capelli trovati in diversi punti e persino sulle lenzuola. In generale, le camere ci sono sembrate molto diverse da come vengono presentate online e decisamente bisognose di maggiore cura. Sono piccole, scomode, non confortevoli a partire dai cuscini che hanno il riempimento in palline di cotone, al materasso del letto a molle.
La cosa più spiacevole è successa durante l’ultima notte. Lo staff ci ha chiesto, come cortesia, di lasciare la camera e trasferirci in un’altra. Abbiamo accettato senza problemi per venire incontro alle esigenze dell’hotel, aspettandoci ovviamente una sistemazione almeno equivalente e avendo sottolineato di darci una camera al pari livello.
Ci siamo invece ritrovati al piano terra in una camera con un fortissimo e persistente odore di chiuso e cantina, davvero sgradevole, tanto da dover tenere le valigie chiuse per evitare che anche i vestiti prendessero l’odore.
Quando è l’hotel stesso a chiedere a un ospite la disponibilità a cambiare camera, ci aspetteremmo quantomeno che la nuova sistemazione sia dello stesso livello, se non migliore.
Nel complesso, per la nostra esperienza, facciamo davvero fatica a comprendere le valutazioni “eccellenti” che avevamo letto prima di prenotare.

It’s close to historical center

Cons:

Noisy from guests coming and going. Fireworks nearby. You can hear the other guests. No coffee in the room. Stuffy not fresh in the room.

Heel mooi hotel
Pros:

Heel mooi en sfeervol gebouw. Mooie kamer, heel fijn dat er een open haard in de kamer was! Omdat het regende toen wij er waren wel nodig! Het klein balkonnetje is ook fijn. De kamer die wij hadden was wel vrij donker, de kamers die hoger zijn, zijn mogelijk leuker.

Cons:

Ontbijt was duur dus dat hebben we ergens anders gedaan. En wat we vreemd vonden, was dat de verkopende inheemse Maya vrouwtjes gewoon in het hotel hun waar mogen verkopen. Ze zijn erg opdringerig en onderbreken gewoon je gesprek om hun waar te laten zien. Ze duwen gerust een poppetje in je gezicht terwijl je in gesprek bent met de receptioniste 😂. Ze kennen geen gêne meer.

Fine for a night especially given the price

Excellent location and able to store luggage before check-in.

Shower and room were both cold, but we were only there for one night with a 3.30am pick-up so it was fine especially considering the price

Magnifique palais colonial en centre ville.
Pros:

Emplacement pardait, au centre de la ville et pourtant à l'écart du bruit. L'hôtel est logé dans un magnifique palais coloniale et est structuré autour d'une belle cours. Personnel dispo. On recommande.
