The lobby was a real highlight, featuring a pool table and a conveniently located bar that made it easy to unwind without going far. The property was well maintained overall, and the outdoor seating area was a lovely touch that added to the atmosphere.
The breakfast was advertised as continental but turned out to be a paid menu of sandwiches and oatmeal, with items priced up to $9 against an $18 per room daily credit. That kind of misleading description is frustrating and not what guests expect from a continental offering. To make matters worse, I was double charged for my stay and am now in the process of disputing an $800+ charge that should have only been a $300 deposit.
There wasn't one
Property looks beautiful
Pool is very small and it was moldy. Ants ni the gym. There were issues with the room and bad electrical outlets but management was good about a partial refund when complaint was made.
Great location that was close to the mall and other stores which was super convenient. The environment was warm and inviting. The staff was nice and I appreciated that they had good seating areas, a gym, a bar, options for food and even a pool. The room itself was very nice and clean with a comfortable bed and was actually surprisingly a decent size. Easy access to wifi was convenient as well
I didn't like that the frame of the bed didn't have any kind of stopper so the bed easily slides around with certain activities. Also not a huge fan of the bathroom sliding doors which made it that you can essentially hear everything. Takes away some privacy. These are simple minor gripes though if I'm nitpicking and it didn't diminish our experience overall.
Lewis andJeswell (sp) were both excellent at the front desk!
Shower/toilet is too tight!
No hot gluten free breakfast options.
Clean — which is very important.
Toilet backed up. Took many calls and a visit to front desk to get someone to fix it. Put on hold at front desk forever! Unacceptable. Food was awful for both dinner and breakfast. Definitely a waste of money. Beds not very comfortable.
I enjoyed the style and layout of the room. The ammenities offered were great, the pillows were awesome and I loved that there were drybar products in the shower. Very nice touch- they were all great quality. Luis at the front desk is incredibly helpful, personable, and efficient. If he wants to advance in the company, he should be given the opportunities. He represented well.
I used the gym and the cleanliness was an issue for me. There were ants and spiders coming from the floor and I almost didnt work out due to the amount of bugs. The dumbbell area was also pretty dusty and rusty. You could tell it hadnt been deep cleaned in a while. The hallways had a weird smell- almost an ammonia quality to them. It also seemed nearly impossible to find a menu for the W XYZ bar downstairs and the breakfast menu. I appreciate the QR codes provided and the home screen on the TV, but I would have actually had breakfast and dinner at the hotel if I was able to find a menu. It would have been nice if a physical one was in the room already. I ended up just doordashing.
It was very easy to find. It had multiple rooms where we could take pictures. (We went for a mini girls trip for a friend’s birthday ) & it was only 20min away from downtown Boston!!
We had reserved breakfast but no one told us what time it was at and so we ended up missing by 5min breakfast and we weren’t compensated or anything. Just basically left to fend for ourselves where was the nearest brunch place.
They refused to refund money.
Everything was nice and clean and was a different look than the same old hotel room
Drinks at the bar were a little high
Property was clean, well situated and friendly staff.
However, some improvements could be done for the rooms like providing room sandals, and also laundry services made easier. You are required to go up to the 4th floor to do laundry, less convenient sometimes. The pool operating hours were also limited and you had to go over to the hotel across the road to access the pool.
wow! The lobby is completely redone, really swanky with fire pits/fireplace/pool table, etc. Gym was nice, too!
Not much in choices on breakfast, but there were a few things you can purchase.
The room
Nothing I loved it
