Excellent stay and will return when next in San Diego.
Pros:

Centrally located with lovely walks, parks and water views. Good food, an excellent bar tender. Everyone friendly and helpful. Nice pool and outdoor seating areas. Very comfortable rooms.

Employees were fabulous. Location was perfect. Room needed a little bit of help with dampness and smell.

Booking.com not truthful
Cons:

Booking.com lied, did not sleep guests, did not have balcony, breakfast not included. I paid extra for 5 guests and upgraded room i didn't get! Will probably not use this website again.

Location and staff were great. Very clean hotel.

Cons:

Only thing I would mention is booking.com’s listing said they had breakfast included. Which the hotel said they don’t.

we'll be back, but not for food.

Wait staff and Kitchen were quite substandard compared with our previous stay.

Cons:

orders were mixed up and food was improperly prepared. ie: home fries should never be deep fat fried. Ridiculous!

Location, location, location.
Pros:

The location is great in terms of proximity to the airport (able to walk) and also being in Liberty Station.

Cons:

Housekeeping staff used walkie-talkies at an extremely high volume, making it sound like conversations were happening inside our room. We asked that the volume be lowered, but it wasn't. The noise around 4:00 p.m. was disruptive enough that we left the room. For the price, the room lacked basic amenities such as a microwave and balcony. Having stayed at other nearby hotels, we found this property offered less value for the cost.
