Management refunded our stay after my original complaint re: refusal of towels, poor Customer Service, & bathroom mold

After posting this review, hotel management contacted me directly and refunded the cost of our stay. I appreciate their responsiveness and willingness to address our concerns after the fact.

My original comments regarding the mold in the bathroom, the lack of adequate towels despite our reservation being made well in advance, and the disappointing level of customer service remain accurate reflections of our experience. Those issues significantly impacted our stay and should be addressed for future guests.

That said, I believe it is important to recognize when a business takes responsibility and makes an effort to resolve a complaint. While the refund does not change what we experienced, I appreciate management's follow-up and their attempt to make things right.

This was one of the most unacceptable hotel stays I have experienced. We reserved our room more than a month in advance, yet upon arrival the hotel was unable to provide basic adult-sized bath towels. Being told that no suitable towels were available is not a minor inconvenience—it is a failure to provide a basic amenity that every paying guest should expect. Even more troubling was the condition of the bathroom. There was visible mold present, and I have photographs documenting the issue.

Mold in a hotel bathroom is a serious cleanliness and maintenance failure and raises legitimate concerns about guest health and safety. No guest should have to stay in a room with these conditions. When these problems were brought to the attention of staff, the response was disappointing. Customer service was inattentive and showed little urgency or concern. Rather than resolving the issues or offering appropriate compensation, staff appeared indifferent to our experience. We paid for a clean, comfortable, and properly maintained room and did not receive what was advertised. The combination of visible mold, the lack of basic amenities, and poor customer service represents a clear failure to meet reasonable hospitality standards.. I would strongly caution other travelers to consider alternative accommodations until these issues are addressed.
