We appreciated the convenience of the location of this economical hotel.
Pros:

The location is excellent, as we could walk to most of the things we wanted to see in Wellington.
We also had somewhere off the street to park our car.
The bathroom is quite good, The shower had a decent water pressure and temperature.

Cons:

The overall impression of the décor is that it is a little tired and dated. And the street entrance is a somewhat shabby and dirty. There is scaffolding, a lot of accumulated dirt and litter, and many of the tiles on the steps are chipped, broken and/or missing. We also found the menu for the inhouse restaurant was misleading, The "Slowed cooked beef brisket on Brioche buns", turned out to be just a hamburger with regular beef patties and regular burger buns. Disappointing enough to make us choose to not eat there again.

Great location, great Staff, very quiet room even though they were fully booked. Really enjoyed my 2 days there.

Pros:

Comfy bed, great water pressure, excellent location

Cons:

The hotel smelled like urine throughout, including the room. Room was dingy and tired, shower had a layer of scum on the tiles. Definitely not a 4-star hotel as advertised
