The location was perfect! They had a complimentary happy hour which was nice, as well as breakfast.
The hotel, or our room specifically, could use an upgrade as the rooms looked well worn and tired. But I understand that the hotel will be closing soon to be revamped as a boutique style hotel, so I get it. There was a roach in the bathroom, I know we’re in the city etc, and the housekeeper didn’t fully close our door after cleaning. Which was a little unsettling.
Property was very outdated and dirty. Old carpeting with lots of stains. I didn’t even want to walk on it in my bare feet
The location was great.
The place is falling apart. The tub in the room was missing the knobs. The paint is peeling off the walls. I always stay at embassy but this was the worse stay. I was not impressed.
Worst Embassy Suites we have ever stayed at! Broken toilet seat, outdated everything, 1 of 2 elevators broken, rude service and nasty omelette (raw yolk when cut into-see picture). Oh, and the maid service totally disregarded our do-not-disturb sign and knocked on our door continuously at 11:10pm! We told them to go away through the door. When we finally opened the door, she wanted our sheets! What were we supposed to sleep on??? We told her no and she finally left. We could not wait to leave. Management was completely unhelpful and never called us back. Customer care service said that management was not available for them to talk to and they also said someone would call. Still waiting.... Stay far away from this place!
Location and safety
Pool needed cleaning
The history of the location.
The room felt damp.
The location and history of it was fantastic! The staff was the best part: they were awesome!
It needed to be upgraded. Our window was broken, and some areas were worn.
Location is excellent, for shopping and Restaurants. Breakfast was excellent and staff so happy to accommodate. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. In the future, we will be staying at this great hotel.
I can't think of anything we didn't like.
This location is AWSOME but this location needs a TOTAL UPGRADE. IT was so old that you couldn't read the HVAC dial, ran out of hot water and fabric was NASTY
Great idea for a historical conversion. The place needs to be brought to the comforts of modern life . New elevators get rid of old dirty rugs , update bathrooms , furniture and overall decor . The location is amazing considering the Dewberry across the street . It is time to invest more in this place . Winning fue to location , amazing staff and pet policy
Interior Looks a bit tired run down .
Location
Rooms were outdated, you have to pay to park, employees not friendly, beds were very uncomfortable.
It was very clean. In a historic building, the breakfast was delicious and the after dinner drinks were spectacular.
It was a little walk to get into town, but King Street is right behind you
Gorgeous historical location…
