Slightly overpriced
Pros:

Location. Reception desk was excellent especially Jimena was very helpful.

Cons:

Toilets not properly finished. Missing piece on the ceiling. Foul smell in the corridor. No cups/milk provided in the room

Great hotel, value for money, great staff, clean, good breakfast, would definitely stay again.
Pros:

The King Suite was very comfortable and we had to pay for an extra bed since our daughter was with us. Quite spacious. The breakfast was very good but lacked variation over the 6 days we were there. The staff were very friendly and helpful, specially almost everyone at the concierge, specially Banchero Tang. The reception staff were excellent and professional as well and spoke English quite well, except for 1 gentleman who was there early morning. We arrived at 6 AM and they were nice enough to give us an early check-in at 11AM. There's a medium sized mall called Rainbow mall right next to the hotel (attached to it actually) which was very convenient indeed for food and some light shopping, including cafes and a convenient store.The indoor pool was very nice and the fancy restaurant on the 3rd floor was understandable on the pricey side but great food. Jemina at the reception area was very attentive and always asked whether she could help in anyway whenever we crossed her.

Cons:

Breakfast was great but little variation over our 6 day stay.Although I did guess this before booking it, the hotel is slightly away from the main tourist locations, but overall it wasn't a big problem since most car rides to malls and tourist sites were between 15-40 minutes.

Во время поездки в Пекин мы остановились в DoubleTree by Hilton Beijing. Впечатления остались неоднозначные: у отеля есть свои сильные стороны, но есть и существенные недостатки.

Заселение и персонал

На ресепшене нас встретили приветливо. Сотрудники говорят как на китайском, так и на английском языке, быстро отвечают на вопросы и помогают с любыми просьбами. Перед поездкой я заранее просила сделать небольшой комплимент или повысить категорию номера в честь дня рождения моей мамы, однако, к сожалению, ни комплимента, ни апгрейда мы не получили.

Номер

Сам номер оказался значительно старее, чем выглядел на фотографиях. Мебель сильно изношена и местами заметно пошарпана. Шторы были грязноваты, а душевая уже нуждается в обновлении.

Отдельно хочется отметить качество уборки. В какой-то момент я подумала, что потеряла браслет в номере, и заглянула под кровать. Там оказалось очень много пыли и мусора, что говорит о том, что под кроватями уборку практически не проводят. Для пятизвёздочного отеля это неприятный момент.

Плюсы номера

Из плюсов — красивый вид из окна и большое количество бесплатной питьевой воды. Запасы воды пополняли регулярно, что было очень удобно.

Завтраки

Завтраки достаточно разнообразные. Есть как китайская, так и европейская кухня, однако китайских блюд заметно больше. Европейский выбор довольно ограничен. Для пятизвёздочного отеля немного удивило отсутствие таких привычных для международных завтраков продуктов, как слабосолёный лосось.

Один раз мы также ужинали в ресторане отеля. Ужин оказался действительно хорошим — к качеству блюд никаких претензий нет.

Расположение

Если вы планируете активно смотреть достопримечательности Пекина, расположение нельзя назвать удачным. Отель находится достаточно далеко от основных туристических мест, поэтому на поездки на такси уходило много времени.
