Average - would not book again when we visit in Jan
Pros:

The breakfast and staff were really friendly and helpful. The location to where we needed to be for the next day was good.

Cons:

The bathroom had mould in, the room was horrendously noisy all night and the bed was rock hard. We had people walking around the landing at all times of the night so we barely slept

Good location and some nice touches but felt over-priced for the standard of the rooms
Pros:

Staff were very nice and helpful
Breakfast was good
Cafetiere and ground coffee in the room

The accommodation was comfortable but the rooms and bathroom were tired and a bit 'shabby'
Room at front of the property was noisy from traffic despite the double glazing
It didn't feel worth the price paid

Town centre location with bar and restaurant. Excellent overnight stay.
Pros:

Great facilities with the bar and restaurant that were most convenient after a long day of travelling. The room, a twin, was comfortable and fairly quiet. Breakfast was superb with a great choice and well served. The staff, throughout the hotel were excellent. Car parking was good.

We enjoyed our stay at the King's Head.
Pros:

Dinner was excellent. The room was very good and comfortable. The cooked breakfast was excellent, but a limited choice for the Continental breakfast. The parking was good too.

Cons:

The Continental breakfast was limited to just a few items.

Comfortable beds, spacious quiet room with en suite bathroom with powerful shower over bath. Good breakfast. Welcoming reception staff. Parking available behind the pub.
