Historic Charm and a Warm Welcome, The Perfect Base for Exploring Bath and Wiltshire.
Pros:

The pub is located in a beautiful historic building where you can really feel the atmosphere of times gone by. Our room was excellent — it felt like stepping back in time, but with all the modern comforts you need today.
The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful, giving us great suggestions on how to make the most of our visit to the area.
From here, we visited the Roman Therme Baths in Bath, Stonehenge, and many wonderful villages, including the spectacular Lacock. A great place to stay for exploring this beautiful part of England.

It has so much charm and the decor is beautiful. Lovely location. The breakfast was lovely with real food and not the typical processed buffet

Bellissimo pub inglese, la camera arredata benissimo. Ci è piaciuto tutto.

Wygodny pokój, śniadanie to porażka

Przyjemny pokój, czysty, z wygodnym łóżkiem.

Cons:

Niestety, śniadanie okazało się całkowitą porażką. Jest ono serwowane i w naszym przypadku czas oczekiwania wyniósł ponad 40 minut. W dodatku kuchnia bardzo swobodnie podchodzi do składu dań w menu i bez ostrzeżenia zmienia składniki. W naszym przypadku mąż zamówił granolę z jogurtem kokosowym i na szczęście po podaniu dania zapytał na wszelki wypadek czy podany jogurt faktycznie był kokosowy. Ku naszemu zaskoczeniu dowiedzieliśmy się, że kokosowy się skończył, więc dostał grecki a kokos jest w granoli. Przy nietolerancji laktozy, na którą cierpi mój mąż takie zachowanie było skrajnie nieodpowiedzialne., W moim zamówieniu też zamieniono rukolę na rukiew wodną, bo też im się skończyła. Zdecydowanie nie wrócimy.

Perfect location for me , the room was spotless , the food was amazing , one special mention to Ceja she know her stuff about the beers and was a delight to talk to . Ceja is an asset to the team, Pub & company keep doing what you do and the team well done everyone from the bottom up.

Mooi hotel. Met heerlijk restaurant voor zowel dinner als ontbijt.
Pros:

Rolstoelkamer geboekt. Deze was los van het hoofdgebouw maar door de dikke muren heerlijk koel. Super verzorgd ruime kamer. Grote badkamer. Elke dag vers water en koffie thee benodigdheden op de kamer. Het eten en het ontbijt zijn erg goed. En personeel is erg aardig.

Cons:

Op het terras is het erg ongelijk met grote kieren wat ontoegankelijk is voor een rolstoeler.
