Don’t get a room close to the freeway, as you will be very sorry

The manager’s were very nice and helpful in switching rooms. See comments below:

Cons:

The extreme noise and location right next to the 5 fwy. My original room was exposed to the white noise of constant vehicles from day to night. I had to turn my white noise device all the way up and have a pillow over my head.

Pros:

You really can't beat the price, especially for a last-minute getaway. The location was good just 10 minutes from both the beach and Carlsbad Village. We also appreciated that the rooms had laminate flooring instead of carpet, which felt cleaner and more modern. Our king room was spacious, comfortable, and offered plenty of room. Overall we would stay here again.

Cons:

The downside is the freeway is right there but if you just pack some earplugs it's perfect.

Simple, clean place to get off the rd and rest your head for the night.
Pros:

Huge clean room. Comfiest pillows I have had the pleasure of in a while since being on the road!

Cons:

Its not a negative, just letting ya know its right off the hwy. So it's just good for a place to rest your head for the night en route to somewhere else. Would've been better if it was at the $100 mark.

I was okay staying there, felt safe, but the noise was a problem.
Pros:

The curb appeal was very pleasant.

Cons:

However, its location was right next to the highway and there wasn’t much sound proofing so I heard a lot of traffic noise! Plus the sink faucet dripped and was difficult to stop. When I told the manager, he seemed to be aware but hadn’t tried to fix it.
