In response to feedback from guests the hotel has decided to protect privacy and stop offering automatic daily servicing of rooms. If guests staying for more than two nights want housekeeping it can be arranged upon request. For all guests a basket of fresh supplies will be placed outside room doors after the first night and replenished daily as required.

You can use the hotel's car park on the morning of your arrival and park for up to one day after check-out.

Plenty of good advice about visiting the Cathedral and other places of interest, and on local restaurants. Free parking at the hotel which was a bonus.
Innenstadt gut erreichbar. Familienzimmer mit getrennten Räumen.
Schwierigkeiten hatten wir weniger mit dem Hotel als vielmehr mit der Umgebung. Mir war nicht klar, dass Gloucester eine Stadt ist, die in Teilen eher von Armut und Verfall gekennzeichnet ist. Im Bereich der Docklands war es nett und wir fühlten uns sicher. Bei Dunkelheit waren wir aber froh, mit einem Uber zurückzufahren.
Das Hotel ist einfach aber in Ordnung. Das Haus ist nicht mehr auf dem neuesten Stand, was aber im Preis reflektiert ist.

Quite close to central Gloucester and on bus.route to Cheltenham. Spacious room with fridge, microwave and coffee making facilities. Good breakfast available
The TV suffered connection problems.
Check in was excellent, The rooms were well equipped to enjoy your stay. Bkfs was well done and tasty.
Personal, Lage
My room had a large comfortable bed. Large screen tv. Mini fridge and microwave with additional kitchen facilities available. Paid extra for breakfast which was very good. All in all a good stay in quite a busy hotel with lots of guests coming and going.
The hotel is on a relatively busy main road into central Gloucester. Although there is double glazing first night Saturday I was aware of traffic noise into early hours. There are steep steps to top floor which may be issue for people with mobility issues although of course they could ask for ground floor accommodation

La stanza era la terzo piano, senza ascensore (ma è tipico in queste zone), con scale molto strette. Qualche difficoltà a salire con valigie un po' grandi e pesanti
Das Edward Hotel ist günstig gelegen und bietet im Innenhof sowohl eine kleine Terrasse als auch einen Parkplatz. Die Lage ist fußläufig zur Innenstadt. Im geräumigen Zimmer gibt es eine Mikrowelle und einen Kühlschrank.

All was good
I liked the quirkiness of it and learnt that it was originally three houses and changed to a hotel. It was clean and comfortable. It has its own car park which was really useful and its location was perfect for our needs. I loved the little basket found outside the door with clean towels and top ups of tea and coffee. Great idea.
Nothing. It was exceptionally hot when we stayed but there was a fan provided.
I can't recommend the Edward highly enough. An excellent place to stay in all respects: friendly and welcoming, well situated, comfortable plus a nice garden. The breakfasts are great, facilities are good and there is a really nice ambiance about the place.

This hotel has a lovely atmosphere, lots of photos and information about Gloucester, many stair cases linking different parts of the hotel. the rooms are functional and comfy with tea/coffee making equipment, fridge and microwave. There are also shared kitchens with everything you might need. Staff are super friendly and very helpful. There's a small garden for al fresco eating or chilling.
