Good location for Knockhill
Pros:

It was quiet. The reception staff were efficient

Cons:

The entrance to the hotel is appalling. The surface of the drive is broken and crumbled.. We used one of the disabled bays and the car was absolutely covered in bird poo the next morning. Not sure what could be done about that other than a warning sign?

Comfortable reasonably priced hotel
Pros:

The hotel was ideal for our one-night stay in Dunfermline. The room and bathroom were spacious and a spotlessly clean, the bed was large and comfortable, although the pillows were a bit flat, staff were friendly and helpful and there was plenty of parking. We ate in the restaurant, which has views over the beautiful garden to the Forth bridges and a magnificent monkey puzzle tree. The food was fine and reasonably priced - my husband's Cajun chicken was especially good and suitably spicy. Breakfast was also good, with a selection of fruit and cereal etc and hot food cooked to order.

Cons:

There was nothing we didn't like really, although you need to watch out for the huge potholes in the drive. But I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Pitbauchlie House Hotel.

Bien pour notre dernière étape.
Pros:

Repas du soir sur place excellent. Chambre bien au calme, ce que nous avons apprécié vu notre départ très hâtif (3 a.m) pour retour très matinal vers l'aéroport. Très beau jardin pour une petite promenade après le repas.

Cons:

La douche à prendre dans la baignoire, ce qui est peu pratique avec le rideau qui vient coller au corps.

Good quality accommodation with in house bistrot serving fine food and good choice of wine etc

Good quiet location , rooms well designed and showers efficient . Lovely comfortable beds and big guest towels . Food very good - choice of dishes at dinner good and quality of food high . Cocktails at bar - good selection

Having to make own toast at breakfast bit of a bind .

Another excellent stay at Pitbauchlie.
Pros:

I have stayed here several times and really like the feel of the place. The staff are always friendly and the young ladies on breakfast were very helpful and entertaining. They really worked as a team. I believe their supervisor was not in that day so they deserve special mention.

Just what we needed for a short break in the Dunfermline area. Other areas easily accessible.
Pros:

Lovely hotel, slightly off the main area, but convenient and easy to find.

Cons:

Really nice grounds but suggest they need to do something about the potholes in their drive!
