Our stay was everything g we expected apart from what we were charged for breakfast
Pros:

The location was perfect for commuting into Edinburgh by bus or train. The bathroom and shower were excellent. The bed was really comfortable

Cons:

The furniture in the room was a bit dated.
My partner asked for a half portion for breakfast as due to health issues can only eat a small amount, she got a half portion but we still got charged the full price of £14.50

We wouldn't stay here again unless the hotel some investment to redecorate and update.

The staff were friendly especially the staff serving breakfast. The cooked breakfast was nice. The bed was comfortable,

Cons:

We booked the room via Booking.com. The pictures of the room on the site were not reflective of the room we were allocated. Room 244 was dark and dingy and in need of redecorating and updating, as was the hotel generally. In room 244 the carpet was old and dirty, the wallpaper was coming of the walls, the furniture old and the room just was generally uninviting. Thankfully the window opened wide as the room had a musty smell. The room had no view as it was at the side of the hotel and a large tree blocked daylight. At reception we were told the hotel was fully booked so we could not change rooms although at breakfast there were only a handful of guests. There were other rooms overlooking the garden which may have been better in terms of decoration. The driveway was in a desperate state with pot holes. Overall the hotel is in need of an overhaul and updating so given the cost per night it is not good value for money.

Séjour très agréable
Pros:

Bel hotel dans un parc, facilité de parking, grande chambre bien équipée, bon petit déjeuner, et bon restaurant dans l'hotel. C'est un hotel parfait pour un séjour de plusieurs jours.

Nice relaxing time
Pros:

This is another Best Western Hotel, we like to try different ones but Garfield in Cumbernauld is still tops but this hotel is also very good. On arrival the Hotel is set back from the main road but a big sign outside so easy to find. If I was to be extremely picky I would say driveway is a let down but that’s me looking for a fault. The receptionist was very welcoming and friendly indeed and that’s how it should be as they are the first person you see representing the company. The room was very spacious and comfortable and wee had a great view overlooking the garden. The food was good and as was the breakfast which had everything. Nice location and we would definitely go back again. Wee had an outside guest as an alarm clock (see picture)

Cons:

Chambre pas conforme. Il a fallut changé de chambre car elle était salle. Moquette pline de taches. Lit supplémentaire pas adapté.
