Breakfast is available at the property for all guests, served in either the breakfast lounge, guest bedrooms or the terrace; between 08:00-10:30.

Should you wish to cancel your reservation please ensure that you inform the hotel, at least 5 days prior to your check-in date; in order to receive a full refund. If your booking is canceled within the 5 day window, a one night charge is applied. Additionally, should you wish to shorten your stay, once checked-in, a charge of the following night's stay will be applied.

In the event of a shortened stay after check-in, a charge equivalent to one night's rate will apply. This fee is nonrefundable and will be assessed regardless of the remaining duration of the original reservation.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Everything was average, but wouldn't return unfortunately

Chatsworth worth a visit
Pros:

The staff were fabulous.
The location was great.
Nice touch having a welcome drink.
Room was massive.
Room service was great and convenient, food good quality.
The room was very clean.
The bathroom was very nice.

Cons:

Such a shame there were torn net curtains in the breakfast room.
In our room, there was easily rectified decorating fixes. The windows needed a clean.

It would only take 1-2 days to bring up to scratch. As it was very clean, but those bits made it look shabby.

Whilst the bathroom was nice, trying to get in was tricky but nit impossible, but putting in the plug was a feat in itself!

Beautiful room and location, Inexperienced staff,
Pros:

Breakfast poor. See below. The room was excllent and bathroom outstanding. Room housekeeping was excellent. Maybe some bottled water for overnight would have been a nice touch.

Cons:

Breakfast was poor, On the first morning we waited over 30 minutes to get our order taken (only 4 couples in the room so not busy). My wife ordered a scrambled egg on toast. She received a reheated (and cold) grey smashed up omlette which was inedible. Complained to the waitress, who gave no apology and just took it away. Tea arrived without any milk. Day two ordered poached eggs which were hard and cold. Tea arrived with out a tea pot lid and no milk again. The hotel was not busy but the two young members of staff could not replenish the buffet table. Frequently no milk, no bowls, no white bread, no plates, no cereal. Also pastries left on top of the toaster to keep warm. Nice idea but made the pastries rock hard and very unappealing. Gave up on 3rd day and had breakfast out.

Live music provided during the evening meal. The restaurant room was not very big, so to have a Pavarrotti look a like belting out (with an unneeded microphone) Rag n Bone man songs in your ear when all you wanted was to have a quiet meal and chat was impossible and a bit embarassing. Love music but not that loud or so close to me when I'm trying to relax.

One night stay left us wanting to come back for much longer next time.
Pros:

We loved the seafront position and views of the pier. Also liked the external architectural features of the building and the interior period decor. Nice that they have kept to possibly the original lift with the concertina doors. Our room was massive with amazing views and the marble bathroom was also large with a jacuzzi bath. Staff all welcoming, helpful and efficient.

Pleasant weekend
Pros:

Cons:

Furniture was old and the leather was peeling off over the floor and anyone who sat on it. The rooms were similarly generally old and falling apart slowly. The whole place could use renovation.

Für einen Kurzaufenthalt ok und es gibt kaum bessere Alternativen, die meisten Hotels scheinen alt und heruntergekommen

Lage, grosse Fenster, super Aussicht auf das Meer jedenfalls im 3. Stock, hell, man hört das Meeresrauschen 😍

Breakfast wäre eigentlich gutes Konzept gegen Foodwaste, da es nur Dinge in Buffettform gibt, die man nicht wegschmeissen muss und alles andere wird auf Bestellung frisch gemacht. Es dauert jedoch lange, es war ok aber nicht megalecker und dafür zu teuer!

Das Zimmer wurde nicht oder sehr schlecht gereinigt
Keine neuen sauberen Tassen
Das Hotel rechtfertigt wohl seinen Preis mit der tollen Lage direkt am Meer. Alles ist alt und heruntergekommen

Great location and a warm welcome.
Pros:

Location was very good. Very welcoming. Friendly staff. Huge bathroom. Good coffee.

Cons:

View from our room was disappointing. TV was difficult to operate and there were no instructions. The cooked breakfast needed greater quality control.

Not the 5 star quality that is advertised
Pros:

Location excellent quiet hotel overall.
Bed comfortable tv choice great.

Cons:

Quite shabby marks on walls.
Stains on sofa and carpets.
Skirting dusty.
Room not cleaned properly in 4 days.
Breakfast awful really poor choice, very basic layout of buffet only 3 sorry looking pastries they were dried.
Felt uncomfortable to ask for anything.
Water was lukewarm everyday.
Would not class as 4 star hotel.
Manager reluctant to refund for breakfast asked to give a second chance, so just went with the few choices we had not worth £20

Lovely hotel , helpful staff in perfect location
Pros:

Cooked Breakfast was very good . My room was lovely , large and a fabulous sea view .

Cons:

Only one member of staff on reception ( who was very helpful ) but the customer before me took so long I waited a significant time to check
In . I also tried to call for room service for breakfast but could get no answer. So it seems a reserve member of staff would be helpful .
