Excellent Hotel! Very clean and amazing breakfast! Perfect location!
The breakfast is fine. There's a lot of juice, yogurts, hard boiled eggs. I just thought there would be a little more hot food. Yes, you had pancakes, but only 1 day did they have any sausage and meat? I was just expecting a little more hot food to be available.
We had a great room. We had a wonderful view of the ocean. The room is very, very small, which I understand however, in the bathroom, the shelf above the toilet is very rusty doesn't look good. There was dust all over it and pretty much. There was dust throughout the room now. I know we are the coast. But I really do think that the room truly could have been cleaner and also to the the bathrobes when I pulled one of the bathrobes off should have been fully cleaned, but there was human hair stuck in the collar so it makes me really wonder, are they cleaned every time or they just hung there, you know. It just didn't settle right with me.
the area was good
that we didn’t have an ocean view
room . clean
but most important check your shower
cant control the temperature of the shower .
Nice little hotel, Very clean the staff very friendly the rooftop Terrace with an awesome view of the harbor and I also loved you can store your luggage before you get your room and after you check out..
The hotel sits top of a hill which had to go up every day to get there...LOL
Friendly staff and great location
Price could be a little less expensive for what is offered. Great value, room, and easy access to town
The rooftop view.
The breakfast was bad!
The room was clean and well presented. There were plenty of additional luxuries such as bath robes, high end coffee machine and bathroom amenities. There was a small balcony with two chairs and a table, the view over the harbour was wonderful. We were able to choose our breakfast in the lobby and eat on our balcony. For those rooms without a balcony, there was a beautifully appointed outside deck.
The hotel is located a small walk uphill from the sea front and at the other end of Avalon in relation to the ferry terminal, which may not be to the liking of some guests. It didn’t bother us.
Was nicely outfitted room
The staff was incredible
Everybody was helpful and friendly
The rooftop lounge was beautiful
The room was small
The coffee pot didn’t work
Wasn’t quiet
The hotel was on a hill and no elevator, which was difficult for people with mobility issues
Beautiful view from the room and the rooftop deck. Staff were extremely nice and very helpful. I liked that it is not right in the middle of the busy area of town.
It is a steep walk up to the property.
The place to stay on Catalina. Very clean with nice modern rooms including microwave, fridge and coffee maker. Also breakfast set out in the morning. One of the best features of the hotel is its roof-top deck with a fabulous view of the harbour. With lawn-type furniture and umbrellas, that feature is worth half the value of your stay. As for personnel working there, the hotel manager, Parker, is the hotel’s greatest asset. He is an amazingly helpful and accommodating individual who has lived in the area for some time, so is a great resource for information about a wide variety of things on the island. From rentals like golf carts to tours, to what restaurants and the kinds of foods at each and prices, this guy is the heart and soul of the establishment for sure, which adds another great value for your reason to choose Aurora. I couldn’t recommend it more. (The only consideration to make is there is no elevator lift in the hotel so expect stairs on the upper floors)
Roof deck with view of harbor.
Basic breakfast buffet with hot items.
Everything was amazing I can’t wait to come back
Everything good
