Pros:

Location is excellent

Cons:

Definitely reserve parking at the hotel (we did) otherwise parking is extremely difficult. We asked for a room with twin beds and didn't get one even after reserving months in advance. I felt the mattress sagged and was uncomfortable. The apartments where they put us are getting kind of run down. Sofa was stained. Plugs near the bed were inaccessible.

Hot in Iceland????
Pros:

The location was perfect, within walking distance of many restaurants and sights in central Reykjavik. The breakfast buffet was very good.

Cons:

The room was very very hot. Because it's Iceland, there's no AC, which we understand. However, the room had only two very small windows that open, no fan and no cross breeze. Didn't sleep a wink.
