Staff was great. Made every effort to allow me to check in as early as possible on a very busy day!
The location cannot be more central! The hotel facilities are just what is needed. The staff was excellent! Especially, the Iranian manager. He did the extra file to help me find the toiletries I forgot in the room when I checked out.

Situé en plein centre de Reykjavik, on peut difficilement faire mieux en matière d’emplacement. La chambre est propre et de taille raisonnable.
Comme l'hôtel est situé dans la rue animée de Reykjavik, nous avons eu un peu de bruit le samedi soir. Pour le petit déjeuner, on aurait apprécié avoir du skyr (qui est quand même la spécialité de l'île :).

Very basic not very clean, facilities very basic and water had very bad snell of sulphir
Basic hotel not very good facilities. Hotel staff generally very rude and unfriendly. They never answer the phone or messages. Running water in bathroom very bad smell of sulphur. Not very clean.

Breakfast was very good. The staff were exceptional and very helpful.
The location was the best for shopping, restuarants and other sights.
We didn't eat breakfast at hotel, but we used the kitchen for coffee and bought our own breakfast items and ate in room. I the room was large but a bit too warm on sunny days.
There was a lot of noise and distraction during our stay due to window washers.

Great location in the middle of the pedestrian street - close to main shops, restaurants, bars etc - must check out the Old Bookshop Bar
