La ubicación impresionante en la mejor calle de la zona antigua
The position of the hotel was ideal - well situated for Bus stop No. 6 where a lot of tour companies picked up from. Plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. Perfect for walking around the city. I believe we were upgraded as the room had a separate living room and kitchenette. Thank you for that. One staff member in particular - Rasa Luksaite - stood out for her helpfulness on several occasions. Thank you very much Rasa.
Regrettably I did not find the person who checked us in particularly welcoming on our arrival. Having said that he did assist us with our 2 big cases when we finally checked in and discovered our room was in an anex, across the courtyard (cobblestones!), and involved several stairs firstly to get to the room from the lift, and secondly within the room between the bedroom and living room/bathroom area. The rooms were extremely dark and had only one rather weak ceiling light in each - again this was not a particularly welcoming feeling. We did pass another room that had the door open and noted there appeared to be several spotlights on the ceiling which provided a totally different feel to the room. Perhaps some upgrading of the rooms to include more lights could be done. The bathroom certainly needed a lot more hooks or towel rails - 3 sets of handtowels and bathtowels were all hung on one rail, all on top of each other. I felt the housekeeping was a bit rushed and apart from changing all towels in the bathroom every day - even though we hadn't used all of them (we were there for 4 nights) and clearing the rubbish bins, I don't think much else was done. The one facecloth that I had purposesly left on the floor to indicate I would like it changed, remained there for 2 days. On the last day the one bed was not even made up, with the cover just dumped on the end of the bed - perhaps the room attendant was interrupted and called away? Breakfast was good but when the hotel was full and if you came at the wrong time, it was impossible to get a table. We were told we could eat in the lobby or take the food to our room. Perhaps some kind of booking system for a particular timeslot could be introduced when the hotel is full. The television did not work but it seemed the solution was to unplug it and reconnect - easier said than done when it was attached to the wall fairly high up. With Rasa's assistance we finally got it to work.

Servizio: non soddisfacente. Abbiamo dovuto aprire noi il divano letto e prepararlo per nostra figlia per la notte, utilizzando lenzuola arrotolate trovate sopra un armadio all’ingresso, con il dubbio che fossero realmente pulite.
La camera, inoltre, aveva solo vista interna. Avevo richiesto una vista esterna: so bene che una richiesta non equivale a una garanzia, ma mi sarei aspettato maggiore attenzione o almeno una comunicazione chiara al riguardo.
Il bagno avrebbe bisogno di essere ristrutturato. Segnalo anche la presenza di gradini all’interno della camera, non indicati in fase di prenotazione: un dettaglio importante, soprattutto per persone con difficoltà motorie o problemi di mobilità.
