The location of this hotel is absolutely central. Amazing bakeries, restaurants, bars and shopping are right on your doorstep. We were no more than a 20 minute walk (no elevation change) from any of the museums and attractions we took advantage of while in Reykjavik. The hotel staff were helpful in identifying the best options for parking during our stay.

Cons:

The breakfast offering was relatively limited compared to other hotels on our trip. We instead took advantage of the amazing bakeries and brunch options in Reykjavik.

The location was central.

Cons:

It’s noisy. It needs to be deep cleaned and redecorated. The breakfast is very poor, chipped glasses and mouldy fruit. The staff were ambivalent. There are much better hotels that are equivalent in price.

Location was excellent. Rooms were spacious and comfortable.

Cons:

I didn’t realize we would need to prebook parking, which led to a bit of frustration. You can only park on the street for a maximum of 3 hours, which meant we needed to move our car between zones several times. No parking option was offered to us by the front desk staff for onsite parking. Lots of street noise, which comes with being in such a central location. We had the windows open overnight, but were woken up several times from the noise.

Perfect stadshotel.
Pros:

Centrale ligging dichtbij restaurants en winkels.
We kregen een upgrade naar een mooi appartement aan de achterzijde vh hotel.
Ontbijtbuffet was niet echt uitgebreid maar zeker voldoende.

location was perfect,, close to everything.

Cons:

parking was a nightmare, the lot only holds 4 compact cars, and getting in and out is a nightmare. trying to find somewhere to park before you check in is crazy, then once you check in, hopefully there is a spot available for you.
