Excellent service in the heart of Florence

Just a quick message to thank you and all staff at your hotel for excellent and very personalized service which was extended to us during our recent stay in Florence on July 10-13. Your hotel is fantastically located, very cozy and compact. Looking fresh and stylish. Excellent value for money.
All colleagues at the reception, in breakfast room are friendly, willing to help.
My brother and his family stayed at your hotel before and also had very good impression. In fact, it was at his recommendation that we decided to book your hotel. He asked me to particularly thank Olga on his behalf, which I gladly do, as she is friendly and professional.

Can’t get past the awful smell
Pros:

A star for the staff, a star for the location and a star for the happy hour. Minus the stars for the strong stench of the hotel. Staff was attentive and kind. Room was a great size and hotel is centrally located. Wonderful walkability but there’s a possible dead rat or rats or something rotting hidden in the walls or poor sewage smell. Especially strong in this main and first floor. Every time we entered or left the smell was horrendous. It was especially strong the morning we left that we couldn’t bring ourselves to eat breakfast. I used the elliptical in the gym and something was wrong with it and it needs to get fixed. The treadmill and stationary bike worked perfectly. The happy hour was a nice touch but I could never stay there again with the stench.

Excellent hotel, location and service
Pros:

Excellent staff and best service out of any of our stays in Italy. The hotel has an amazing location right next to the Ponte Vecchio bridge and walking distance to all major attractions.

Cons:

The AC in the room struggled to keep it cool in the hot summer weather

A fabulous place to stay!
Pros:

We stayed at Vecchio suites for 3 nights in mid-June, B&B. From the pre-arrival check in email to us getting in the taxi to go to the train station (with water, fresh coffee and sweets), we couldn’t have been treated any better.

Every member of staff we came across was so friendly, welcoming, professional and NICE!! We could not fault any of them - and their English was superb. Puts the English to shame really 🤔….. (yes I’m English).

Our suite was fantastic - large in size, the comfiest bed and pillows, one of the cleanest bathrooms I’ve seen for a long time, great shower, toiletries, lots of storage for clothes/belongings. Because we booked directly we also got daily complementary water, fruit juice, soft drinks. Krupps coffee machine. Two big tvs, desk, sofa.

We didn’t have the breakfast but it looked very nice. Continental and hot products. We just don’t really do breakfast! We did have the complimentary Prosecco and snacks one evening and they were very good. I don’t really like Prosecco but it was of very good quality, as were the little snacks.

Reception recommended a special steak restaurant for our last night - Ristorante Dei Rossi. Outstanding.

We literally loved this hotel - fantastic location, extremely clean, peaceful (yet right in the centre of the city), tasteful, modern and the best staff who clearly love what they do. So pleased we found it - and got the last free room. So don’t delay booking - it is a hidden jewel!

This was one of the most comfortable hotel stays we've had iwhere everything worked intuitively.
Pros:

Everything functioned exceptionally well. I don't think I've been in a room where all light switches, thermostates, shower controls, etc. worked simply and perfectly There was no need for explanation of how the applieances worked which often is required even in very expensive five star hotels. There were even two luggage racks available wihtout having to ask which is very uncommon.

Cons:

washclothes for the American traveler would be nice but hardly essential.
