The Ross

The location is fabulous for everything. Decor is very chic and the rooms very comfortable and no noise. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times. Wouldn't have wished to stay anywhere else.

Bedroom

Lage mitten im Ort, Zimmer 108 war dennoch so ruhig, dass wir mit geöffneten Fenster schlafen konnten und einen schönen Blick auf die Kirche hatten. Gutes reichhaltiges Frühstück bequeme große Betten Parkplatz zwar nicht direkt vorm Haus, aber zumindest in der Nähe.

The colours and decor in the rooms were lovely.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in a Junior Suite. The room is wonderful, spacious, rectangular shape with two windows, great AC, opening windows, bright bathroom, good room lighting, secure parking in their sister hotel, lovely professional staff and a great breakfast.

All in all a great place- did I mention modern decor, technology and excellent condition.

Cool quirky hotel right in the center of town. Rooms had AC which was great for the recent weather. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. The highlight for me was the breakfast, lots of choices and so many courses served by the super attentive Maeve, she treated us like we were in her own home. A real Irish welcome, thank you.

What a nice stay! Room was clean, even has a towel warmer in the bathroom! Comfy beds and linens, no hair dryer in the room or iron, but they will bring right up to your room. Staff was very nice all around from the bartenders to the very friendly servers. Juan at reception was a rockstar with helping us check in a few hours early. Cener of town, free parking across the street, nice breakfast included as well. Cant go wrong here.

Very central

We loved our stay at The Ross! The location was perfect, the employees were incredibly nice and helpful (shoutouts to Shea and Katarina), and our corner room was large, clean, and comfortable. We appreciated the reciprocity with The Killarney Park and took advantage of their free parking. We prepaid for breakfast at The Ross and those were great too. It was the perfect hotel for my husband and me; we would definitely give it 5 out of 5 stars!

Excellent spot. Great facilities, room, location and staff

We loved everything about The Ross. It couldn't be more central, on a street with loads of cafes and outdoor seating in Summer. The decor is unique and very funky (check out the wallpapers!), the breakfast was super but, above all, the staff were wonderful. What separates great hotels from others is the quality and authenticity of service. The level and warmth of service in the Ross felt five-star. If staff meet you on a corridor they immediately ask if you need anything. Special mention goes to Caterina at reception and Maeve at breakfast.
We stayed in Room 110, a mini-suite with lots of space, light, fabulous decor and services. Free parking was available at their sister hotel The Park just a 2 minute walk away.
What you don't see on their website is the 'Polly Lounge' at The Ross' entrance. This is a gorgeous 1920s style bar with great cocktails and small plates, a brilliant place to while away the night if you don't want a heavy main meal.
Killarney is one of the jewels in the Irish tourism crown with amazing lakes and mountains and culture. It's full of hotels and pubs and this one is a stone's throw from most of the latter. But if you want a hotel with loads of personality, uniquely colourful decor and fantastic staff, pick this one.

Great stay at The Ross. The hotel is very well located, a short walk from the train station. I was welcomed and able to get my room earlier than the 3:00 check in. Very nice coffee / bar area with seating in the main lobby area. Breakfast was served in a very cool space on the lower level. Lots of choices, good food and no buffet!
Comfortable bed and bathroom and good seating area. I asked for a quiet room and was placed facing the church which turned out great. easy access to the National Park, the main streets of the town, and the horse carts. Numerous good restaurants and pubs and shopping right around the corner. I stayed four nights and was glad to have the Ross as my base. Definitely recommend.
