King room was big
Front desk was not very friendly. He was a jerk. If I didn't already pay I would have walked out. Don't waste your money or time. DO NOT STAY HERR!
There are much better places up the road closer to the Manitou Incline. We ended up staying to more nights at another motel. Better amenities and staff was so helpful and very friendly.
They were closed we arrived at 1145 they still charged me
Staff was as they should be. The room was clean and easily accessible. The bed was comfortable, not cozy or luxurious. Allowed my dog for a fee but had no where to walk him in the landscaping.
No place, that I could see, to walk my dog. For off-season, even in Manitou Springs, price was a little high - definitely will not stay there in-seasons!
Great location in a beautiful and historic area of Colorado Springs, close to access to the Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak railroad. General outside appearance may seem sketch, but the room was clean, with plenty of space and more than adequate. The price was great for the area. Breakfast was excellent, and it also is a pet friendly hotel.
Just the outside appearance needs some improvement and TLC
I dont know the staff wouldn't answer the door or the phone so we had to find another motel.
Staff was very accommodating.
We booked this motel ( it’s not a hotel when the doors are outside) because it was dog friendly and had a full kitchen for our 4 night stay. Upon arrival we noticed an old shuttle bus parked the wrong way in the parking lot. Lots of trailers and boxes of debris around the property and a pickup truck with an old jetted tub upside down in the bed of the truck. There also appeared to be several people living at the motel. Once we checked in we found that while there was a kitchen there were no supplies to cook with or plates, silverware or glasses in the kitchen. We had an EMPTY kitchen, not a Full kitchen. After speaking with the front desk we were offered a couple paper plates and a small saucepan with a spatula. Which we declined. We were told that they don’t stock the kitchen because guests just steal everything.
The coverlet on the bed was stained and the sheets were quite worn. I’m sure glad we had our own pillows. We would have changed locations but this was the only place in that area that accepts dogs.
The beds where nice.
Unfortunately the room was very small, the TV was very weird, no 24 hour staff on-site. Breakfast wasn't horrible but was not bad for seemingly a one man show he was very quick and kind.
At The last minute need of a room it was perfect.
It's was outstanding. It was clean the staff is great and the breakfast bar was super clean and well stocked. Closed to food and fun and budget friendly. I definitely will stay here again.
Updated room
Size of the room
Too many issues with équipements like TV, shower door, room door… breakfast room inadequate and under rénovation despite efforts of the guy in charge
Great location, clean and very comfortable rooms.
Could not find ice machine, no one at the front desk to ask about the ice machine.
