King Solomon Hotel

-The roof in our bathroom was so low you couldn’t fit in the shower without squatting. My boyfriend is 6 foot and he had to sit down just to have a shower, i’m 5”3 and even i struggled to use it.
-the window above our bed was covered in dust and mold
-pillows, bedding and towels were stained
-the safe was locked and when we asked staff how we use it they said they would get someone to come and unlock it for us to use but they never came so we had to leave valuables in our suitcase
-creaky floors. We were on the top floor and can’t imagine how irritating it must’ve been for the rooms below us considering every step we took the floor creaked

My room was so small I think it must have been a converted cupboard and the heat was so unbearable that I woke up at 3am and checked out and drove home at 3.30am. The bar looks okay but the drinks range is very poor with no decent beer and the music playing was absolutely terrible. That godawful autotuned AI slop where every song sounds exactly the same. Even Google find a song couldn't identify it.

You only had 1 pillow on the bed, bed was uncomfortable.

First day when I arrived 19th of June 2026 they gave me a box room ıt was absolutely unacceptable bu they ignored my complaint. I would like to complain about that following 3 days ıt was bigger than box room 24 and 25 iPad better but ı think too expensive for that price. The staff was not helpful and frıendlly

Room was dingy and dirty.
Window had 2 opening sections one permanently open due to broken handle and other fused shut
Daughter woke to find a slug on the headboard
Electrics didn’t work

Spoke to front desk and nothing happened and contacted through booking.von and no reply from customer services or the hotel.

We booked a family room with 4 single beds, the first room we were checked into had sick on the toilet seat and sink that had not been cleaned from the prior stay. When we notified the receptionist they said we could change rooms however it would be into a double room, with 1 double bed and 2 singles as they were fully booked. We asked if the room would be cleaned before the next guests checked in the receptionist said “well we are fully booked”, so the room was probably not cleaned as it was around 5pm. The second room we had was unbelievably hot, we had 1 fan and as they were fully booked, there were no more available, the receptionist said there were no more fans and we were lucky to have one as some rooms didn’t even have 1 fan. We had to buy another fan for our second night as we could not sleep. The hotel knew of the heatwave and knew they didn’t have the right amenities they should have let us know in advance so we could have brought a fan for the first night as we had arrived too late to buy one from anywhere. The room was dirty, the first room had stains on the sheets, the cushions on the bed had clearly not been washed for a long time, our towels had stains on, the carpets were dirty, after walking barefoot on the carpet, our feet were black, the drain in the shower was blocked, when we took the plug out it was clear that it had not been cleaned properly as there was a build up of hair, tissue paper and whatever else. The shower then turned scalding hot, we were unable to have a proper shower the whole weekend as it was so hot, instead we had to wash in the sink. We asked if the shower could be fixed on 2 separate occasions, they reassured us it would be fixed. When we returned to the hotel, the shower was still boiling hot. A staff member came up to fix it however was unable to. We asked if there was any other room or facilities in the hotel to get a shower and he said “no we are fully booked” so we had to go another day without a proper wash.

Very dusty on window cill and wardrobe top. Cooling fan was also dusty and needed cleaning before we used it

Bathroom window was broken and wouldn’t open and the handle had mould on. The shower head kept falling off, the bathroom sink wouldn’t give cold water and was constantly hot. Blue bed sheet, both chairs and the walls all had a lot of stains on it. Overall the room was very small and cramped, did not state in the booking we would be in an attic room and felt very claustrophobic.
