Due to close vicinity to Ponsonby bars it was noisy at night so take ear plugs

Property did not match photos on booking dot com. The hotel was very old and dated furniture was outdated and stained and in poor condition carpets stained completely over priced for what it was I paid over $700 for one night and I’ve stayed in $200 motels that were better quality. Really disappointed
It was an apartment with one very small sofa, would have benefit from an extra armchair. Wifi kept cancelling, needed to complete a work project, maybe you only allocate limited,

Parking was a mission very tight underground parking
Staff were not overly friendly they were more interested in chatting amongst themselves
It was clean.
Unfortunately due to a broken/non-operational air-conditioning system (no instruction on how to adjust its temperature) making the room extremely cold, I was unable to sleep the whole night. There are no instructions on who to call after hours, as the premise is not staffed after 9pm. I requested a refund but was declined. Note: Quest is a chosen accommodation provider for ACC clients.
The location was excellent, we had a very comfortable stay, and had no complaints. I love staying at quest hotels, its always very nice especially the washer dryer in room
I love incense, but I dont think the reception of a hotel should smell that way, it was a little over powering , as if to cover a stink..of course there was no bad smell to cover , the hotel was very clean , it was just something that I thought perhaps let them down a little. Please dont take this as an insult, it was purely just my first impression entering. Take it how ever you wish.

Bed was comfortable, shower great.
TV did not work. Generator outside started loudly at 8pm and ran until 11.30pm, unable to sleep or relax. When calling the desk, just reached someone in another city who could not help at all. No-one could help with the TV.
