I thought it was above my expectations for the price and the food and staff were so helpful and kind as my wife is disabled and they could not have done more to help
There was nothing to dislike about the hotel
breakfast over-cooked, egg yolk hard bacon over done
pillows too hard and deep
Perfect for my needs. Staff attentive. Food lovely. Room really comfy and spacious.
Ok maybe the bathroom could do with new flooring and I couldn’t get the wall lights to work but neither detracted from the overall experience
Breakfast, bar
Room and bathroom could be better. Socket locations
The receptionist was very pleasant and friendly and breakfast was OK.
The place has a run down feel about it. For example the dining area is very basic and the tables were sticky (not cleaned properly). For our evening meal we decided to just have a starter- chicken pate. With it we received 2 barely toasted pieces of white bread and a couple of lumps of pate. We ate it but it was definitely not worth the GBP 8.50 we each paid.
Really nice staff, and room was really comfy
A little of the beaten track needing a taxi to get town
The food and staff
Every thing very very tired needs a good uplifting
Excellent attitude from the staff. Excellent attitude to dogs. Excellent food.
Its situation in the Lee of a huge factory
Location is good for getting into chard and surrounding areas.
Excellent evening meals and breakfast.
Quiet location
Staff welcoming
Could do with a spruce up , just needs a lick of paint here and there ,its an old building but in some places you can tell but this wouldnt deter me from coming back..
Convenient location for work
Shower was not great, so had a bath instead
Excellent staff and the food was very good too.
Nothing worth noting
Breakfast was excellent.
Ordered the Sunday lunch roast beef for dinner. The plate wasn't hot enough therefore the meal was less than warm by the time I'd finished. The roast beef was ok but roast potatoes were poor. Got the impression it was a warm over from lunch.
The beer was incredibly tasty and it's the first time I woke up hydrated after 6 pints
Lovely property
Car park was busy
