the room in the old hall was very tired and had a foisty smell, this was not helped by the shower not working correctly in a "suite" that you pay extra for. Staff were lovely, food was excellent. If booking get a room in the new building.

Staff were wonderful, particularly in the restaurant/breakfast area.
Because of the unusual hot weather, the bedroom room was very hot and stuffy. However we were provided with a fan in the room which helped and it is unusually warm at the moment.

The location was great, staff was nice and friendly, check in was easy and car park was super easy to access from your room. Room was clean and comfy and plenty of room for us with 2 kids.

Rather disjointed walk to get to the bar and restaurant but once found very good.

Water and fruit available in the foyer which was a nice touch. Breakfast was good. Lots of choice and big portions.

I commented that it was really quiet and they told me that it can be very busy and noisy when theres a wedding booked so it may be worth checking with reception before booking. But do book!
Generous size room, good carparking, good dinner and breakfast at Oscars.
Cleanliness could be better - walking from Reception to Oscars required a convoluted path through conference/wedding rooms and passages where the carpets were filthy and needs a good steamclean.

Lovely room with a great view overlooking the garden. Our room had all the pleasing little extras that you need….shower gel, shampoo/conditioner, tea, coffee, biscuits, fridge. Also had a fan for the hot weather and a powerful hairdryer. Very pretty gardens with arches and flowers. All the staff were very pleasant, smiley and helpful.
Had no scramble egg at breakfast, was a fried egg instead.
