Location
Customer service non existent. Almost everything had run out for breakfast. Delivery boxes were stacked in the middle of aisle. Opened a couple so could have something to eat. No one was working the breakfast.
Hardly ever anyone at the front desk except in the evenings when ?friends? hung out with the manager.
STAY FAR FAR AWAY! We booked two rooms (through Priceline) for our extended family and when we arrived the lobby smelled terribly of chemicals, the rest of the hotel smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke, and the bedding where my children were to sleep was filthy and stained. We immediately gathered our things and went down to the lobby to bring this to the attention of the front desk and request a refund. The employee told me it was ”wasn’t his problem” and to take it up with Priceline for a refund. We left the hotel and spoke with Priceline who called the manager of the hotel to request the refund who told Priceline that we need to “prove it” and that they wouldn’t be allowing a refund. I’ve spent hours on the phone with Priceline and Choice Hotels consumer affairs with no resolution. Stay far far away from this hotel and from Comfort Inns and Priceline.
Very clean nice rooms
Breakfast was ok. Could have been a few more options.
Nothing
It was dirty, the room was musty smelling, the air quality was extremely poor; it made me sick. It has cockroaches and the food was disgusting.
Room smelled couch smelled and was old and uncomfortable there was no coffee available like all other hotels coffee area was closed off. Overall very poor experience.
Juice machine did not work. Out of yogurt the second morning
The elevators were dirty and smelled.
Room - ants
Staff was vacant from the front desk all three days I was there. Never seen anything like that. Asleep in managers office.
Not enough trash containers. There should be more than one outside the facility, such as at all entrances / exit doors.
Convenient
Nothing.. I wanted to give minus score
They didn’t clean provided the room .. completely unprofessional staff has basic idea on how to manage a hotel . No body wash provided .
Staff was openly drinking hard drink in the main lobby and also during service.
Bed was hard not comfortable, room was very dark, breakfast room was full no place to sit, elevator buttons didn’t work well, first room they gave us was not even ready for guests, they did give us another room. Not much to like.
The shower was not very clean, water didn’t drain out of tub, hair dryer almost caught on fire, bottom of shelf in bathroom was very dusty.
Room was ok. Bed comfortable.
Breakfast was disappointing.
The pool was not too cold
The food was cold
The room was ok and had the beds felt clean and well made. Unfortunately the place felt much cheaper than expected.
The facility was ok, but it definitely is plagued with a lot of smokers (not in our room but in other facilities). and there isn't a lot of ventilation so the place has a constant stale smell. The room was ok but the pillows have no support and the air conditioning system is old and either is too cold or too hot. The bathrooms need to be completely revamped. there is no ventilation when a lot of steam or smell in the bathroom. The room was clean, for the most part but the TV was very low quality and i have stayed at much better places for cheaper. The last issue was most concerning - the pool. when we showed up, the room was also musty even for an indoor pool, and the pool was green. Yes Green!! Not enjoyable.
I am going to to start oit with the positives first. The people who worked there were kind and friendly. They loved that our 2 year old was looking through the brochures like an adult. They also had a very nice breakfast area.
I usually do not leave negative reviews on things if I did not like it. Because it could just be me. But my entire family was affected and I do not appreciate that.
But,I highly suggest if you stay here. Do not stay Room 101 please its also near the laundryroom (not terrible) and on the other side is the "storage room" . Im going to save the worst for last.
The room was alright. Nothing fancy. I don't judge if a little ware and tare. But we had no smoke detector.
My daughter and her boyfriend wanted to go use the pool and work out area before they closed at 10. Which each area has a sign about rules and hours. They are also old enough to go without supervision. They also know how to act in public.
But as they went to go to the pool. A person who I am assuming was the manager on duty. Told my daughter and her boyfriend that they were not allowed. (The time was 9:13pm when they left our room to go down). He said ONLY certain people who stay at the hotel are allowed to use the pool and fitness area until 10. My daughter then said her family is staying in room 101. We did pay. He again said it's only for certain rooms. So she then asked what time is it closed for us? Not rude just curious. They just wanted to take a quick dip. He looks at his watch and said now. That time was 9:27 pm. They then said okay, thank you have a good night. Came back to the room after a few minutes just kind of confused as to what happened.
Now comes the worst of it. First of all, we love a few hours away. We weren't down on vacation. We were there to see a neurologist for my daughter. We had our 2 year with us. My 2 year old, daughter and myself fell asleep. Around 10:30, my toddler woke up SCREAMING. Someone was in the freaking " storage room" knocking and banging on the wall. Where the beds are. I shot up, my husband banged on the wall and shouted for whoever to please stop. They did not and my toddler was still screaming. My husband went out found the manager walking down the hall. Asked him to come to our room and listen. He listened heard my son crying and freaking out because he was woken up and scared. The manger did go in that room and yelled at whoever it was and it was done.
But for the entire night until 5 o'clock that next morning. My son could not fall soundly back to sleep. He woke up screaming every 20 minutes. I got a total of 30 minutes of sleep.
We will not be staying there again.
The kids did not deserve that at all. They now do not want to stay in another hotel after that experience.
I sincerely hope they do better the next time someone stays there. Especially with children and respectful teenagers please.
