Pros:

Staying at Donna Camilla Savelli is a truly unique experience in one of the most atmospheric parts of Trastevere. The hotel offers an exceptional combination of historic, almost monastic surroundings with all the comfort and amenities of a modern high-level hotel. Inside, the property features a charming church that enhances the serene and spiritual atmosphere. The architecture, peaceful courtyards, and post-medieval surroundings evoke a sense of timeless elegance, making the stay feel very special.
A particular thank you to Marina & Marina, who made both our breakfasts and evening dining experiences truly exceptional with their warmth and hospitality. They added a very personal touch to our stay and made us feel genuinely welcome.
The location is perfect for exploring Trastevere, while still making it easy to reach Rome’s main attractions. There are countless bars and restaurants within walking distance, although the hotel itself offers such a pleasant dining experience that you may not feel the need to leave.

Cons:

The only downside: be careful when you step onto the terrace or sit down in the hotel’s peaceful garden. It is far too easy to forget that you are a tourist and are actually supposed to be out exploring Rome. 🙂

An exceptional hotel in a great location.
The hotel is beautiful, and the staff are friendly and helpful.
Excellent breakfasts, served in the beautiful garden. A wide selection of food and excellent coffee. Such leisurely breakfasts put us in a positive mood for the entire day. The hotel is located in the vibrant Trastevere district, a vibrant neighborhood in the evenings, yet within walking distance of the center of Rome. I highly recommend it.

Cons:

We missed a kettle in the room, but that was a minor thing. Everything else was just perfect.
