BEST HILTON MANAGEMENT
Pros:

Amazing customer service! Antonia and Annitte are the best hotel managers I’ve ever seen. Went above and beyond to assist me and make me feel welcome during my long-term stay! Shoutout to Shawna who also went out of her way to make me feel like family during my time at the Banyon! The location of hotel is perfect to experience the best of downtown Fort Myers!

Great location but incompetence from both management and staff

Positive: Great location and clean, comfortable rooms.
Negative:
1) Unfortunately, everything else was disappointing. The hotel did not feel very secure because the rooftop bar is open to the public, and random outside visitors can enter and use the elevators with hotel guests.
2)Breakfast was badly understaffed. One employee was working as the bartender, waiter, and cook at the same time. He told us our breakfast was included, but we were still charged for it. He also dropped my credit card on the dirty floor twice and returned it covered in kitchen residue.
3)The worst part: we were incorrectly charged for breakfast and never received a refund. I emailed and called management multiple times. Everyone promised to investigate and follow up, but nobody did.
Mistakes happen, but ignoring customers afterward is unacceptable.
The level of incompetence from both management and staff is honestly unbelievable.

Best location downtown Fort Meyers!
Pros:

First time and for two nights in this great historic hotel - we loved it! From the great welcome (thank you Vash!) to the huge room (705) it’s a great find, a house with character.

Hint:
1) check out the rooftop
2) just a few steps past the Starbucks on the corner there is the German Cafe “Peter’s” - check them out for breakfast and your coffee!
3) for great seafood 3min down the main road I recommend “Izzy’s”

Travel Delay turned into a wonderful evening
Pros:

Ended up needing to stay the night because weather canceled my flight, and what was a disappointment turned into a very pleasant evening. It helped that the desk person Vashti was very helpful and sympathetic that I was a stranded traveler. The room was very pleasant and the location ideal. Within two blocks were an array of restaurants and bars so that I had a wonderful dinner and then a drink before retiring for the night. Sometimes the detour is the best part of the trip!
