Rooms and location a delight, some members of the hotel staff less welcoming than others…
Pros:

The rooms were really beautiful, the bed was comfortable and we had a lot of privacy in the annexe. The guy who helped take our bags to the room was really lovely and helped organise an ironing board and iron.

Cons:

We were part of a wedding party, and used one of the common areas in the annexe to get dressed and have some food in. We made sure to tidy up after ourselves and perhaps incorrectly believed it was just the wedding party in the annexe. Some bottles of water were consumed, which we corrected and apologised for, but one of the members of staff at reception then continued to berate/tell us off for having done so even after we apologised, then bringing it up again on a second instance unprompted leaving me somewhat unwelcome more generally.

Pros:

Very nice hotel. Clean and comfortable with nice rooms. Has an elevator. Staff was nice. Has a good breakfast and a bar.

Bring your earplugs - but otherwise a great stay
Pros:

The beds were really comfortable, the rooms were spacious and historic with shutters and grand beds (thankfully with new mattresses!) Location is a short walk from the tram to the airport and a short walk to the centre of the town so no car required. Ceilings were high and rooms were airy.

Cons:

Unfortunately, the square is not quiet at night. There is a bar in the corner and young people gather on the steps in front of the hotel in the square, socialising until late at night. It is really noisy if you have a room overlooking the square. Our room was right above the crowd. On the first night, one group also had a loud speaker. Apparently the loud speakers come out every Thursday! This meant that we couldn't get to sleep. I am sorry about this because there is nothing the staff can do about this and everyone we met was very helpful.
