All the apartments and rooms of the Resort, according to your choice, are located on the slopes of the cliffs of the Pola and Giverola mountain coves and therefore all of them are reached by accesses with lots of vegetation and pine trees with stairs and long paved roads, many of them on steep slopes and labyrinths of stairs among nature.

Very nice location and beautiful hotel
Pros:

Beautiful hotel in a stunning location overlooking cala Giverola. Breakfast is rich and has good sports options. Staff is very nice. Recommend the tennis classes with Albert.

Cons:

There is a new concept of no reception desk. Which means you often find yourself wondering about the hall looking lost, waiting for some of the tablet-equipped staff to notice and come to you. @Melia, if 99% of hotels are doing it differently, there is probably a reason...
Also not a fan of the self check-in. If I choose not to do it from home, don't just hand me a tablet when I get there. It's much easier if you take care of it. Maybe from behind a nice, old-school reception desk...

Pros:

Amazing place - beautifully renovated with very stylish furniture and high quality facilities. Private rooms/ balconies , tennis courts, volleyball, mini golf , pool, basically a private beach cove , great hikes , close to Tossa del Mar. We loved it!

Pros:

Très bel hotel à 10 minutes en voiture de Tossa de Mar. Décoration moderne et soignée, les chambres sont de petits appartement vraiment spacieux pour deux personnes avec une cuisine fonctionnelle. Climatisation et ventilateur de bonne qualité. Personnel disponible et sympathique. Grande piscine permettant de nager, et la Cala Giverola à quelques mètres. La cala Pole est également accessible directement depuis l'hotel en 10 minutes à pied (partagée avec le camping à côté). Très belle vue, de partout.

Cons:

Hotel un peu grand, donc potentiellement pas mal de monde et il faut s'attendre à marcher un peu entre la chambre et les différents espaces du complexe. Parking unique à 20€/jour, le long des deux voies d'accès, là aussi il est possible de devoir marcher un peu selon la place que vous trouvez. Beach club un peu cher, mais rien d'étonnant.

Bonito e bem remodelado, mas o serviço estraga tudo.
Pros:

A localização é o grande trunfo. Uma baía quase privada, com a praia ali mesmo, num enclave que é dos mais bonitos daquele troço da Costa Brava. A vista de encosta sobre o mar é difícil de igualar na zona.

A remodelação está bem feita. A decoração é sóbria e coerente, com paleta natural, madeira e têxteis em tons de linho, sem o exagero habitual de resort. Os quartos são luminosos e bem resolvidos em termos de espaço. Nota-se investimento sério e um trabalho de design cuidado.

Cons:

Reserva única para uma família de cinco. Atribuíram-nos dois quartos em extremos opostos do complexo e exigiram um upgrade de 80 € por noite para os colocarem mais perto. Aceitámos pagar para não separar a família.

Ambos os quartos foram entregues preparados para duas pessoas, não 2+3. A cama da quinta pessoa não estava feita e não havia qualquer roupa de cama para ela, apesar de a reserva original ser para cinco.

Às 23h disseram-nos ao telefone que não havia housekeeping ao serviço e que teríamos de fazer a cama nós próprios!! Pedi para falar com a direção e a pessoa que atendeu identificou-se como manager, disse que não podia ajudar e remeteu-nos para a manhã seguinte. O guarda noturno trouxe depois lençóis num cesto de plástico, de medida errada para o sofá-cama. Almofadas e toalhas nunca chegaram. Fizemos a cama nós, passada a meia-noite, no primeiro dia de férias.

Não existe receção atendida. O check-in faz-se no telemóvel de cada hóspede, e o nosso falhou. Fomos atendidos numa mesa ao lado de um concerto, com volume que impedia perceber o que nos era dito.

Um resort com mais de 200 quartos, em época alta, sem uma única pessoa de housekeeping durante a noite. O sítio é bonito e a localização é excelente, mas a operação não está à altura do que se paga.

Es war ein wunderbarer Urlaub in einem tollen Hotel. Essen sollte besser sein, aber man wird satt.
Pros:

Zimmer mit Küche sehr modern. Lage und Ausstattung waren perfekt.
Sehr schöne und landschaftlich reizvolle Umgebung. Herrliches Wasser in der schönen Sandbucht zum Baden.
Von Tennisplätzen, Tischtennis, Fussballplatz, Wassersportmöglichkeiten, Minigolf, etc alles vorhanden!
Anlage sehr gepflegt und Service sehr zuvorkommend.

Cons:

Essen! Zwar sehr große Auswahl am Buffet aber Qualität minderwertig:
Steak zäh wie Gummi, Fleisch generell schlechte Qualität, mehr Füllmasse. Gemüse toiefgekühlt. Wenig Abwechslung.
Man findet schon etwas aber nach zehn Tagen freut man sich definitv auf wieder etwas anderes.
Nur Frühstück möglich, aufgrund der abgeschiedenen Lage gibt es unabhängige Alternativen jedoch erst in Tossa de mar.
Zu wenig Schattenplätze bei den allerdings sehr extremen Temperaturen von bis zu 36°C.
Check in und teilweise Menüauswahl nur über Handy mag zwar zum Konzept gehören, eine analoge Alternative vor allem am Strand wäre wünschenswert.

El menjar, en especial el bufet té una qualitat de cuina moooolt deficient. Hi ha molt poca oferta de carn i peix.
A l'entorn de les habitacions li cal més cura, manteniment i neteja.
