Good overall, with a bit more polish it could easily go to a 9 or 10 hotel :)
Pros:

The location is good if you want to be super close to the old centre of Madrid. The air conditioning functioned properly even during a heat wave, and the room was not loud. Very comfortable bed and all suitable amenities (kettle, clothes iron, toiletries etc) were readily available.

Cons:

In my girlfriend’s opinion, cleaning must be improved.
She reported issues found in the room to the reception, they said they will remediate them and the next day, not much was improved. They change the towels each day and make the bed.
On the good side, the bed was clean. However, multiple areas of the room were visibly dirty to the point that they needed proper cleaning, as wiping them would not be enough.

Pros:

Location is perfect, the main attractions are in walking distance from Plaza Mayor. The room was clean and the breakfast was also good with lots of options. The airport is 35-45 minutes away by the underground from Puerta del Sol.

Ajánlani tudom egy pár napos madrirdi város nézéshez.
Pros:

Nagyon korrekt hely. Kedves személyzet. Tiszta, egyszerű szállás. Kényelmes ágy. Nagyon jó elhelyezkedés. Két perc a Plaza Mayor. Egy perc a San Miguel piac. Metró kb. 500 méter.

Great Hotel
Pros:

The location of the hotel was literally right across the street from the huge food market so it was an ideal location if you needed to just grab a bite to eat in between lunch and dinner. Also, there was a lot of people hanging around the area so it was a lot of fun and great people watching. The room was fine. Very clean and it worked perfect for my daughter and I. We felt very safe and we absolutely loved Madrid. The breakfast is awesome. My daughter tries to eat gluten free and dairy free and there were a lot of different alternative foods for her for breakfast so I highly suggest paying for the breakfast. It is totally worth it. They also had clean juices that were fun to try. The staff was extremely friendly and very accommodating. They do know the English language. I would definitely stay again.

Cons:

My only complaint which really has nothing to do with the hotel is that it was tough to catch a taxi. It is preferred to get to a taxi stand which is a few blocks away.

EXCELENTE UBICACION
Pros:

Ubicación excelente justo frente al Mercado de San Miguel, a pocos pasos de la Plaza Mayor , a unos 10 minutos caminando de la Plaza del Sol. El desayuno es muy bueno.

Cons:

Reservamos una habitaciòn con balcón pero por gusto, pues la habitaciòn daba a la parte de atrás del hotel y solo se veian los techos de las casas vecina, hay que tener cuidado con eso.

Vamos voltar certo para mesmo hotel semana vem, pois estamos fazendo um trip em Andaluzia.
Pros:

Localização e o ver da janela do nosso quarto entrada da Plaza Mayor, roupas de cama e banho maravilhosas.

Cons:

Única coisa foi no banheiro , na área do banho escorregadio, me preocupei em me machucar pois tenho problemas no joelho, mas o chuveiro ótimo, limpeza ótima, material de higiene excelente.
