Ice machine wasn’t working on our level

Facility in need of update. So many things, (ice machines, room safe, hair dryer) didn’t work.

Staff was a mess, new guy started when we got there and he seemed beyond stressed and also incredibly rude at the same time. The actual manager (I guess it was the manager??) didn’t seem to care much either. Lots of people were having issues checking in, not to mention a heavy wait time to get checked in. Rooms were somewhat clean, giant stain on our ceiling (looked like mustard) and cigarette burns in the sheets. Our hairdryer quite literally caught fire when we tried to use it, we informed front desk, they didn’t do anything, so avoid that. Rooms are very dated. The balcony was…interesting…you can actively see everyone else you sit next door to, so NO privacy to just sit on the balcony and relax. Parking is a hot mess, there is overflow, but its two blocks away (not so bad but annoying if you are checking in), its almost impossible to pull up front and unload because of how the parking lot is shaped, super congested, but if you have a small car it is somewhat manageable. Do not bother with the indoor pool, it is nasty.

Air conditioning leaked in room and on balcony

The hotel is very outdated for being in such great location and for what they charge. Carpet is old and smelly. Had a roach upon entering the room. Water on balcony floor, no soap on the actual soap dispenser but rather 3 little bottles containing soap, shampoo and conditioner on the sink. Elevators are very old and need service.

Facilities was poor. No haridryer in my room, sticky stuff on carpet by bed, bathroom was not clean around floor area, ice machines and soda machines leaked alot of water out. Pool was dirty.Missing chairs on balcony - I asked for towels and was told to go down to lobby to get them. I pay alot of money to NOT go get my stuff for room we need. I didn't bring hairdryer because I thought I would have one. No pressure in the shower and the drain kept clogging. Very disappointed.

balcony was covered in water from ac unit-which was slimy so we couldn't even walk out on it without shoes. Refrigerator did not work, which I needed for my medication finally switched it out.

Parking is very limited and tight. The hotel looked like it belonged in the ghetto and not on the beach ocean front. The balcony is not private, you can see the person next to you of they are on theirs.

The sink was clogged, the ceiling was cracking and chipping off, the ac leaked, the balcony was chipping, the ice machine didn't work, the elevators were very sketchy (exposed wires and very slow to open)
