Just ok
Pros:

Good location and very convenient

Cons:

Property seems tired and tatty with some poor presentation. I noticed bits of broken fence on the way in and cobwebs etc. It has a generally unloved feel about it

Ho hum hotel for more than average cost.
Pros:

Responsive to my questions prior to arrival. Nice large room. Decent bed. I hear they have a nice gym. Didnt check it out.

Cons:

Bathroom was really stupidly designed, rather, "adapted" cheaply to disabled access. No disabled person could reach the sink. Dinner was very expensive with little healthy choice. I would have taken a bit of my partner's larger meal (I got lackluster vegetable soup) but they provided only one single fork. Too much trouble to wash an extra fork????

We had an absolute ball the kids first trip away id recommend this hotel to everyone very friendly and very family oriented we loved it we celebrated my child birthday and they helped and made her day very special thank you so much cant wait to book it again for in July or August

I had a wow experience.
Pros:

I had an exceptional experience, exceeded my expectations. The staff are lovely, friendly and helpful. Clean environment, myself and my family had a good stay using the various facilities.

Cons:

The bed is very comfortable and breakfast was on point.

Pros:

Stayed 8th & 9th June 2026 on B&B basis for €262 in a twin room.
BEDROOM 205

Both beds lumpy and pillows so soft you were better off without them.

2004 indoor smoking ban introduced - June 2026 Cigarette burns in carpet in room 205.

BATHROOM 205
Water leak from fosset when tutn tap to hot water position.

80's style bath / shower combo - took life into my hands each time I had to climb into or out of the shower.

AREA AROUND LIFT ON 2ND FLOOR.

Both evenings circa 19:00 hrs a very pungent smell of food of maybe Indian or Asian origin throughout the area. Smell definitely not coming from restaurant area, so can only imagine some long term guests cooking in their rooms.

FOOD & DRINK

Lunch in Bar / Bistro was fine.

Dinner in Bar / Bistro was hit and miss

Night one had a steak and it was lovely.

-Night two ordered a Pepperoni Pizza, the dough was soft, the Pepperoni and cheese was luke warm.

BREAKFAST

Chef plates hot food for you, everything else is self service apart from Tea or Coffee which the waiting staff will bring to you - supposedly.

First morning

All good, no issues, nice breakfast and a pot of tea for my wife and a pot of coffee for me. - lovely.

Second morning

Maybe 8 or 10 people getting breakfast, so not busy.

Waited 10 / 15 minutes to order a tea and coffee.

5 minutes later tea for one arrival.

5 minutes later enquired regarding pot of coffee.

5 minutes later cup of coffee plonked on table - so full couldnt even add milk.

Whole time felt like I was disturbing the waiting staff.

Worst part is it was the same staff both mornings, so they know how to do it correctly, but on occasion couldn't be arsed.

PARKING

Where do I start.
Unless you can honestly say to yourself that you are an excellent driver do not use the underground car park.

Entry & Exit ramps are steep and only circa 6 inch to spare between concrete side walls on ramps and average 4 four hatchback.

Walls are testimony to those who tried and failed.

Overground car park is predominantly full of cars that are either in local shops or onsite leasure centre.

No dedicated resident parking and reception dont ask for vehicle registration details.

I did go to reception on one occasion to speak about all of the above, however the young girl on duty was far too busy on her computer to even register my presence, so I just left it.

Overall not impressed, not a 4 star and not worth the €€€.

Cons:

I was booked into room 209 and when i went to it ,it was a dirty room ,went back to reception and the girl was lovely, she put me in another room and no complaints about it.we ordered room service and it was excellent
