Pros:

Friendly staff, welcoming and flexible, accepted to let us use their facilities (swimming pool, towels and shower, after we did the checkout.
Good isolation, we slept well despite we were closed to the airport. Very nice restaurants around the area.
The beach is fine but mostly private .

Cons:

It was our last night, we were spoiled during our stay, so the external environment was not as nice. The hotel is located near a big industrial site.

Parfait pour quelques nuits à Amoudara
Pros:

Très bonne localisation qui permet d’aller à la plage a pied.
Le personnel est très agréable et accueillant, ce qui permet de nous sentir à l’aise dès notre arrivée.
Le coin de verdure est très apprécié pour avoir un peu d’ombre et de calme.
La chambre était correcte, assez pour y une déposer une grande valise. Le balcon est un + pour y mettre de s’y poser le soir en rentrant de la plage.
La qualité des repas du soir est excellente : 5 plats qui vous permettent de découvrir les différentes recettes de Grèce. Très généreux.

Cons:

La climatisation qui était un peu faible à notre goût. Fonctionnelle mais pas assez puissante.

Slaap hier niet, ga naar Vaya Suites
Pros:

Het voelt alsof ik Review schrijf voor 2 locaties., want we verbleven in Vaya (door een upgrade) en ontbijten in Georgia's. We moesten 5 min lopen naar Georgia's voor het ontbijt en zwembad.

Vaya is prachtig en nieuw sinds 2025. Super mooi appartement met hottub. Het is ruim, heeft een keuken, zithoek, terras. Goede WiFi en smart tv. Het voelt aan als een bunker, stil, donker en geen bereik op te telefoon.

Kwa ligging is het goed. Je bent zo op het strand en zo met de bus in Heraklion.

Soms gingen we in het huisje ontbijten/lunchen aangezien we een prima keuken hadden.
10 min lopen had je een mega Supermarkt met alles! Aan de overkant is een mini Supermarkt met bustickets en de basics.

Ook hadden Vaya 2 huiskatten die heel lief zijn en iedere dag je kwamen begroeten.

Cons:

Personeel is vriendelijk, maar als ik een late check out wil is dat heel lastig en niemand wilt me helpen. Ik word van de een naar de ander gestuurd en er is nooit iemand bij de receptie van Vaya. Tot de laatste minuut kwamen ze me vertellen dat ik uit de kamer moest en late check out geen optie is, terwijl ik een week geleden, dag van ten voren en ochtend had aangevraagd, toen leek het geen probleem en vertelde ze dat het goed kwam. Dat is geen fijn gevoel voor dat je gaat. Uit eindelijk, na veel gedoe, moest ik uit de Vaya Suites en kreeg ik ter compensatie een gratis kamer tot 17u (dan was mijn pickup) in Georgia's. De aardige receptionist heeft de laaste dag soort van gered. Gelukkig hadden we de upgrade naar Vaya, want toen we de kamer zagen bij Georgia's SCHROK ik echt. Het was erg lelijk, meubilair was zeer oud, daar had ik nooit een week verbleven. En dat voor die hoge prijs die je betaald!

Het Georgia's hotel is oud en versleten. Het beeld op de foto's is te vertekend en niet de realiteit!

Vaya mocht schoner, met name de vloer. De schoonmaker is heel aardig maar maakte de kamer niet brand schoon.

We hadden twee tv's een er van deed het niet.
Je hebt nooit bereik op je telefoon, gelukkig wel wifi.

Ontbijt was basic en prima. Dagelijks is het net wat anders, maar veel het zelfde.
De muziek tijdens ontbijt is afschuwelijk, meteen soort duitse fouten house muziek. Kan niet relax wakker worden zo.

Eigenlijk over Georgia's heb ik niks goed te zeggen, zo blij met die upgrade!

Pour un break entre est et ouest
Pros:

La localisation proche de l'aéroport, à proximité de la plage. Accuei et gentillesse du personnel.
Le surclassement. La restauration le soir. Jardins, terrasses et piscine

Cons:

Le service au restaurant, un peu hésitant et long alors qu'il y avait très peu de clients. Le petit déjeuner en formule buffet, du standard moyen de gamme.

Pros:

Le spa de la suite et le confort.

Cons:

Nous avons été surclassé et nous nous sommes trouvé dans une suite annexe un peu plus loin de la plage, très bruyante et obligé de prendre le petit déjeuner à l'hôtel initial.
Toujours aucune notice pour utiliser la télévision qui dans ce cas ne sert à rien.

Belle découverte et agréable séjour.
Pros:

L’ambiance générale agréable et reposante. Le personnel avenant et efficace. La proximité du bord de mer. La saveur des plats. Le jardin inondé de verdure qui garde la fraîcheur.

Le manque de soin à la propreté de la chambre.
