Very good value for money, but should be open earlier than 17.30
Pros:

Very good evening meal and well priced wine list

Cons:

The Check in - You cannot check in or even get into the hotel until 17.30.

That's pretty late - we had to go off and attempt to find another pub to kill time until it opened.

Excellent staff and Food. Rooms are clean.
Pros:

The staff are very friendly and helpful. Very focused on creating a a positive experience for Guests. The food is excellent. Perfect spot if attending something in area or if touring around the area . There is a co-op shop 2 minutes walk from hotel handy to get a few bits for the car trip.

Beautiful village, homely hotel, excellent staff.
Pros:

Martock is a beautiful village, typical of Somerset. Breakfast was a choice of Continental or full English at excellent prices. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Dan, the Manager, welcomed us and was very helpful and his staff, especially young Lily, were excellent.

Cons:

Not really the Hotel's fault, but the wireless is pretty much non-existent and the village has a limited mobile signal so it's a great place to get away from it all! Booking.com don't make it clear that this is more of an Inn (a pub with rooms) than a Hotel and it shuts between 2pm and 6pm during the day so don't expect to check in between those times.

Pros:

Cons:

Nulla, tutto bene

There wasn't anything we didn't like. Just a little note , wish there were more seats outside to the rear of the hotel there wasn't enough
