Nice big, clean room
Being on the top floor with no lift
Very friendly staff extremely helpful. Food good. Relaxing
Very good evening meal and well priced wine list
The Check in - You cannot check in or even get into the hotel until 17.30.
That's pretty late - we had to go off and attempt to find another pub to kill time until it opened.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. Very focused on creating a a positive experience for Guests. The food is excellent. Perfect spot if attending something in area or if touring around the area . There is a co-op shop 2 minutes walk from hotel handy to get a few bits for the car trip.
Martock is a beautiful village, typical of Somerset. Breakfast was a choice of Continental or full English at excellent prices. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Dan, the Manager, welcomed us and was very helpful and his staff, especially young Lily, were excellent.
Not really the Hotel's fault, but the wireless is pretty much non-existent and the village has a limited mobile signal so it's a great place to get away from it all! Booking.com don't make it clear that this is more of an Inn (a pub with rooms) than a Hotel and it shuts between 2pm and 6pm during the day so don't expect to check in between those times.
Nulla, tutto bene
When the staff were there they were helpful
Monday no chef and not much else open in the village
The breakfast was excellent freshly cooked and very good value for money
The people so friendly and good food.
