Leuke plek voor een strandvakantie.
Pros:

Ontbijt in buffetvorm evenals avondmaal in buffetvorm waren zeker OK, al mocht iets meer variatie in de groenten wel voorzien worden. De kwaliteit van het aangeboden eten was prima. Grecotel Plaza Beach is een relatief groot complex, waar je echter geen last hebt van de drukte (ondanks ons verblijf in het hoogseizoen). Het personeel is HEEL vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Wij vroegen bij boeking een rustig gelegen kamer, en die kregen we ook. We hadden een duplex maisonette (we waren met 4) en die was bovendien zeer ruim.

Cons:

Op het strand zouden wat meer vuilnisbakjes mogen voorzien worden. De drankjes zijn ook stevig geprijsd, zeker naar Griekse normen.

Una dintre cele mai relaxante vacante.
Pros:

Ne-am dorit o vacanta linistita, pentru odihna si exact asta am primit. Hotelul se afla la marginea statiunii, departe de aglomeratia si zgomotul centrului Rethymno. Este la doi pasi de plaja si aproape de cele mai bune taverne, ceea ce a fost perfect! Serviciile si personalul respecta standardele hotelurilor de 4 stele.

Cons:

Singurul lucru care mi-a placut mai putin a fost politica hotelului referitoare la accesul copiilor in piscina. Desi avem doi copii buni innotatori de 7, respectiv 10 ani, acestora nu le-a fost permis accesul in piscina fara un parinte prezent constant. Asta a fost putin frustrant.

So amazingly well run. The team care

Started off rocky, ended up genuinely impressed — and that’s largely down to one person: Maria, the General Manager.
We arrived expecting the resort in the brochure and initially found a few things that didn’t match up — including a room view, some pool access issues, and the gym and kids’ club not quite living up to the description. We raised it, and this is where the hotel really turned things around.
Maria personally got involved and sorted every single issue, properly and quickly. We’re now in the room we should have had from the start, the pool situation has been resolved, and the kids’ club is actually running the way it’s supposed to. It’s rare to see a General Manager get this hands-on with guest problems rather than leaving it to a front desk shuffle, and it made a huge difference to how the rest of our stay has gone.
Breakfast, for what it’s worth, was excellent the whole time — croissants, good coffee, no notes.
Credit where it’s due: hiccups happen, but it’s how a hotel handles them that counts, and Maria and her team handled this one brilliantly. We’re now properly enjoying the rest of our week and would recommend this hotel based on how the issues were resolved, not just the initial booking. Ask for Maria if anything comes up — she gets things done.

Lovely hotel but 2 miles from old town
Pros:

Breakfast was amazing everything you would want from full english to cakes.
Free parking was an essential for us and was great as access with a fob
Lots of sun beds and 3 pools

Cons:

Our room was at the front, on the ground level so we had traffic noise in the morning but not too bad.
The hotel was about 2 miles from the old town, but taxi rank is close

Agréable et familial.
Pros:

J’ai aimé l’emplacement face à la mer et le personnel très serviable.

Cons:

J’ai moins aimé le fait que les chambres ne sont pas du dernier confort, au vu du prix et du positionnement 4 étoiles. De plus, il manquait un meuble sous le lavabo pour y stocker les commodités tel que sèche cheveux, et accessoires de toilette.

Hôtel familiale 4 étoiles agréable et bien situé.
Pros:

La gentillesse du personnel, le petit déjeuner , l’espace dans les chambres , la propreté. Hôtel très familial. Emplacement proche des restaurants et face à la mer.

Cons:

La piscine principale devant la route , le parking difficile à trouver , accès un peu étroit. La salle de sport ferme à 19h ce qui est un peu tôt. Un peu rigide sur le Check out

L’accès direct à la plage

Cons:

La saleté, le manque d’entretien des installations et la mauvaise qualité du petit déjeuner. Vaisselle souillée, lave vaisselle avec restes de nourriture, coussins et rideaux tachés. La liste est très longue. Prix exorbitant pour un hôtel annoncé comme 4 étoiles. Je déconseille cet établissement.

Excellent staff but old building and set up

Very welcoming staff and always plenty of staff to assist however rooms are outdated and on top of each other, pools full of young kids and little to no quiet or sunbathing areas
