Great place to stay over but not for a long holiday, great for children.

Disappointing. Would not book there again, or recommend.
Pros:

Free parking. Free wifi. Beds comfortable and decent shower.

Cons:

Booked 10 months before my stay, 2 rooms, same booking, one for a friend. Asked for a quiet room at that time. Arrived to find the two rooms were on separate floors, and our room was overlooking the highway. When I reminded them, politely, of my request I was offered instead an alternative of a room sharing a wall with the elevator. ‘Nothing else available’. Breakfast was dismal — supposedly from 6:30 to 9:30 but on both mornings we were there they kept running out of food. Consisted of boiled eggs and slices of ham in terms of hot options. A few oranges and apples and cereal. On both mornings our celiac friend asked for gluten free toast… the 2nd morning she was told they didn’t have any. Eventually they found some. Children noisily running all over breakfast room one morning and no attempts on part of staff to address that or evidence that they asked the parents to do so. Air conditioner in room was loud.

Well they say they will change the bedding every 3 days we qere there 10 days and they did not change the beds. I requested twice and it did not get done

Le lit principal de la chambre était bien confortable.

Cons:

Nous avons pris une suite et nous étions 4 adultes. Le divan-lit était vraiment vieux et très inconfortable (on sentait beaucoup les ressorts et l’enfoncement du matelas). . Cela est malheureusement inadmissible de faire payer les gens pour dormir dans un matelas comme celui-ci. L’air climatisée faisait beaucoup de bruit. Petit détail, qui n’est pas grave, il n’y avait pas de shampoing.

breakfast was great, although crowded at times
room was small
pool was great and enjoyed by my grandson for sure
staff were friendly and helpful
location was great close to everything in Amherst

Cons:

for a family room it was a little cramped with very little place to sit
I seem to recall in previous years the family room being on the top floor with a couch also in the room, this was very small for the 4 of us

Great value for your Amherst stay.
Pros:

Great staff. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast bar was fantastic. Pool looked great but I didn't get to use it. Overall great value.

Cons:

Better pillows. Otherwise nothing else stands out.
