It was clean and friendly staff.
It was loud and didn't get much sleep due to children running around some kind of event going on with young teenagers.

The room was spacious
We attempted to check in early around 1 pm but was advised the rom would not be ready until 3 which is the normal check in time which is understandable. We returned to the hotel closer to 430 and the room was still not available. We ended up having to wait an additional hour (5:30 pm) for the room. We were also advised that the towels and washcloths would have to be delivered to our room at a later time due to the laundry room being back up due to staff shortages. We were unable to enjoy the pool due to the severe overcrowding and disrespectful children who had no supervision. There were several baseball teams there that were extremely loud and unruly all hours of the day and night. At 1230 at night they were still running up and down the halls yelling and banging on the walls. Absolutely nothing was done about it when brought not only to the parent’s attention but also the hotel staff. The entire stay was unpleasant and frustrating. The hallways smelled like marijuana day and night. The tile part of the floors were covered in water and dirt from the children getting in and out of the pool running up and down the hallways without drying off. Due to this experience this hotel is now on my list to never stay at again which is unfortunate because my previous stay was pleasant.

The shower in our bathroom did not have any cold water - it was scorching hot. Other than that, the room was very nice.

Location
Advertised hot and heated pool Hot tub broke and being removed. Pool not heated. Had to get new key cards everyday because they didnt work when came back at end of day. The coffee was not readably available at 6am
I’m check into Holiday inn in Latham NY.
Today and I was told you had a hot tub in the pool area when I made the reservation.
I called the hotel to verify it and was told it was working .
When I checked in the Manager Mario told me it was beening removed and not available.
The only reason I picked this hotel was because you it was advertised and confirm there was a hot tub.
In addition to that issue I complained about the room because it is next to a highway is very noisy. I asked for a different room and I was told if I was gonna check I wouldn’t be a different room so I’m not checking out. I like to have a different room away from the highway he refused to give it to me again this was Mario even though he had other rooms away from the highway.
I travel a lot and I would say I have stay in thousands of hotels in my life, but this is one of the worse experiences and was lied too regarding the hot tub.

The Location was great and the breakfast was amazing delicious.
Everything was fine and the staff were very polite and friendly.
