Staff was very polite, professional and courteous
The room I selected was for two double beds or one King. The room I was given was only one Queen bed which I must say was lop-sided and uncomfortable. The box spring literally squeaked with every movement I made. It was terrible. The TV is impossible to navigate through as the channels make absolutely no sense, and the lack of Smart features is almost hard to believe in 2026. If my room was not so far down the end of three different hallways, I would have asked to switched rooms, but I was so tired at the end of each day, I just dealt with it. Unrelated to the hotel, do not eat at the bar attached to the building, "On Tap". I ordered a basic cheeseburger (medium) and chicken tenders. Burger was so burnt I could not eat it, and the tenders were fried so fast they were dark crispy on the outside and almost raw inside. I had to toss my entire meal and then enjoy that beautiful bed while not watching TV. lol. Sorry for the complaints but for someone that travels a lot for work, I would have expected way better from a Holiday Inn and especially for $150/night. Unfortunately, will not be staying there again. Side note, Tipsy Mousse had great burgers and bar food. Small neighborhood spot, a mile away. Worth the drive or doordash.
Loved the cleanliness and quietness. As well as the dove bathroom products and the toothbrush and tooth paste waiting. Loved the tooth brush I took it home with me.
Non smoking. I really wish all places adapted to smoking on site but that’s a small feat. With a vehicle you can just go outside and understandable no one wants everything smelling of smoke.

We got to the hotel they said there was a problem with their system and they did not have my reservation even though I got a confirmation saying otherwise. They had no free rooms so we had to figure out quickly another hotel. Our son went into the Air Force and they could not accommodate to rectify their mistake

The airport shuttle ends before check in time, so I am not sure who it is there to serve. We requested a room away from the elevator when we booked and were put in a room directly across from the elevator.

We stayed here two separate nights during a vacation with a lot of stopping points. The hotel is 10 minutes from the Albany Airport if you need to catch a flight which we did. The kids enjoyed the pool which was nice, however the hotel tub was broken during our visit. The breakfast service was great in the morning. Well staffed and they never ran out of food. Staff is very friendly and welcoming, including the hotel manager who we got a chance to chat with directly during checkout on our first night.

Experienced IHG club member here with decades of experience, and stays all over the world on IHG properties. Booked a stay here to go see Shine Down at the MVP. Got a call from hotel the day before, stating that our jacuzzi room was not available due to a plumbing issue, which was obviously frustrating. Whatever stuff happens. Its how they fixed it that showed their superior customer service skills, and the reason I keep coming back to IHG. The manager immediately, got u another room a class down, but highly discounted it for us, and gave us enough points for another nights stay. Not only that but they gave us early checkin , and late check out. When we got to the hotel our room was ready to go. Let me tell you IHG properties are normally clean, but this one (our room especially) was IMACULATE! The beds were supercomfy, and I really would like to know where they get their pillows, I'd like to purchase some..LOL. Breakfast was run perfectly, despite the fact that they were fully booked with some giant baseball convention. Really one of the best properties I've stayed at all in all, and I wouldn't hesitate to come back. Thank you for a nice weekend!!
