comfortable clean air conditioned room with quality towels and good coffee making facilities.Good value for money bar and pleasant reception staff.
everything was ok
Air con was great!
WiFi was slow
It was convenient just off the motorway. It was clean and quiet. The staff were welcoming and helpful. Really great shower. Good value. Lots of parking. Close to town. We went to the white lion for dinner. Great food and lovely beer garden.
The alarm went off 4 times from 6am. At 10am I turned on my hairdryer and discovered why the alarms were going off. The alarms were so sensitive that stream/heat from the shower/hairdryer set them off. We could not use the hairdryer and needed to open all doors and windows. Beds not as comfortable as other hotels (eg premier inn) no extra pillows/hairdryers/conditioner.
I stayed here for one night as it was convenient for an event I was attending nearby. Unfortunately, I was woken up by the fire alarm going off three times between 6.15am and 6.30am.
When I spoke to reception, I was told the alarm had been triggered because another guest had left their bathroom door open while showering, and the steam set the alarm off. I found this explanation surprising, so I checked the Booking.com and Google reviews afterwards. This appears to be a recurring problem, with numerous guests mentioning being woken up by false fire alarms during their stays (filter the search results with the term “alarm” and you’ll see).
If the fire alarm system is so sensitive that normal shower steam can trigger it, guests should be made aware of this at check-in so they can take steps to avoid setting it off and disturbing everyone else.
This doesn't appear to be an isolated incident, but an ongoing issue that management has failed to address. Until it's resolved, I would avoid staying here if you're hoping for an uninterrupted night's sleep.
The bed was very comfortable and the staff was amazing
The showers water pressure could be better
The receptionist was lovely and so helpful. It was clean comfortable and was great for an overnight stay.
Nothing
We had booked an apartment in Warwick which turned out shouldn't have been listed. Found this wee gem on website and needed 3 rooms. Reception staff were lovely and she also covered bar and restaurant. Food was very nice and reasonably priced. Looked closed from outside as only two cars but lovely once stepped inside. 2 king rooms and a single which had a double bed. All very spacious and good air con for weather. Turned out a better place than our original reservation
The bed was good
Spiderwebs everywhere, damages on walls, carpet, the room key was never working so I had to go to the lobby every time and get a new key, dripping from the AC and dirty
Friendly staff, comfortable bed, air con when needed and simple meals available.
Location for the nearby RTX exhibition.
The Wi-Fi connection was very poor, no connection in room 118!
No hairdryer in room
I couldn't find BBC1 or ITV on the TV
ease of parking- Good location for Stoneleigh and Leamington
There was no TV remote in the room
Pleasant staff clean room
very eerily quiet, no atmosphere, restaurant closed early no room service
Large room with comfy bed and air-conditioned - that's where the positives end!
Advertised 'river view' - looked out over main road, old dated room. Basin in bathroom - plug didn't fit and there was no fixing so open waste pipe down the plug hole. Shower was full of mould. Toiletries supplied, tiny bottle of shampoo and shower gel plus empty 'shower cap' box. 2 teabags supplied daily, no coffee, no sugar. No fire evacuation plan in bedroom. No hotel information in room, so didn't even check if the restaurant was open or serving meals. The 'high speed' internet does not exist, had to hotspot from my phone to connect to family and friends.
Excellent aircon on a hot day. Clean and plenty of car parking space
Seemed a little worn in places
Staff members on reception were friendly and welcoming. Air conditioning during hot weather was very much appreciated. Bed was comfortable (although seemed to be 2 single beds joined in the middle and one was about 1cm higher than the other) and I slept well. Excellent location wise and would stay again if I needed to go to the same event in future.
Room could have been cleaner - there was a clump of someone elses hair on the bed, a random wet patch on the floor between bed and wardrobe and the bathroom bin hadn't been emptied between guests. Bath had worn patch of enamel and decor tired with old cobwebs around top walls/ceilings. Would have appreciated plug socket closer to bed to charge devices - there was one but it had a bedside table jammed against it between bed and wardrobe so unable to use. WiFi kept dropping out which was an issue as no mobile signal at all available in my room.
